Devotees ofcan get a headstart on play for the morning of March 2, the day after the broadcast TV premiere of NBC's Awake.
If the premiere ratings disappoint, they can have the "but everybody already watched the premiere online" square already covered, because the episode is already available via NBC.com and Hulu.com and via some OnDemand systems.
There's no data to back up whether early availability helps or hurts a show in the long run, but that won't stop desperate fans that morning.
Since I'm working that week I may write up something about how NBC probably held ontolonger than it would have had it been a traditional series order, and then got caught with very little promotional runway for Awake when it finally decided to put it on the schedule.
Think I can fit that onto a bingo square?
