On its seventh post-“Oscar” telecast, ABC’s “Jimmy Kimmel Live: After the Academy Awards” soared over last year’s telecast by 14% in Total Viewers (5.061 million vs. 4.453 million) and by 8% in Adults 18-49 (1.873 million vs. 1.738 million), marking “JKL’s” most-watched post-“Oscar” telecast ever.· “After the Academy Awards” was also up over the prior year’s telecast by 8% with Women 18-49 (1.110 million vs. 1.032 million) and by 8% with Men 18-49 (762,000 vs. 705,000).· Among all “Jimmy Kimmel Live” telecasts, Sunday’s post-“Oscar” show attracted the ABC late-night program’s 2nd-largest-ever audience (behind only its post-“Super Bowl” airing on 2/5/06) and scored its highest young adult number in nearly 2 years (since 3/7/10).
