AND YEAR-TO-YEAR

‘MAURY' UP 25% Year-to-Year

# 1 IN KEY DEMOS FOR 38 STRAIGHT WEEKS

(Stamford, CT. February 29, 2012) -- NBCUNIVERSAL's THE JERRY SPRINGER SHOW tied its season high 1.6 rating with a 7% increase for the week of 2/13/12. SPRINGER has matched its season high 1.6 HH rating 7 of the last 9 weeks.

THE JERRY SPRINGER SHOW also increased 23% (1.6 vs. 1.3) year-to-year, for the week of 2/13/12, compared to 2/14/11.

Additionally, MAURY, hosted by Maury Povich, increased 25% (2.5 vs. 2.0) year-to-year, for the week of 2/13/12, compared to 2/14/11.

Total Viewers: 3,596,000.   +1% (3,596,000 vs. 3,575,000) vs. the prior week and +24% (3,596,000 vs. 2,899,000) vs. the same week last year.

MAURY continued its roll as the # 1 talker in the following key demos:

 

  • Women 18-34:  1.7 Rating. +21% (1.7 vs. 1.4) vs. the same week last year. The #1 syndicated talk show for the last 38 weeks.
  • Women 18-49: 1.8 Rating. +29% (1.8 vs. 1.4) vs. the same week last year. The #1 syndicated talk show for the last 38 weeks. 
  • Adults 18-34:    1.2 Rating. +20% (1.2 vs. 1.0) vs. the same week last year.  The #1 syndicated talk show for the last 38 weeks.
  • Adults 18-49:    1.4 Rating. +27% (1.4 vs. 1.1) vs. the same week last year. The #1 syndicated talk show for the last 38 weeks.
  • Adults 25-54:  1.4 Rating.  +27% (1.4 vs. 1.1) vs. the same week last year. The #1 syndicated talk show for the last 12 weeks.
