“FACE THE NATION” IS FIRST IN HOUSEHOLDS (TIED WITH NBC), VIEWERS AND ADULTS 25-54
CBS News’ FACE THE NATION is the #1 public affairs show on Sunday, March 11. FACE THE NATION is first in households (tied with NBC), viewers and adults 25-54. The CBS broadcast posted a 2.3/06 with 3.14m viewers and 0.8/04 in adults 25-54, according to Nielsen live plus same day ratings.
Season-to-date, FACE THE NATION is up +5% in both households (2.1/06 from 2.0/05) and viewers (3.00m from 2.86m) and +14% in adults 25-54 (0.8/03 from 0.7/03) compared to last year. Season-to-date, FACE THE NATION is first in adults 25-54 (tied with NBC).
On the broadcast, Bob Schieffer interviewed Republican presidential candidate Newt Gingrich, President Obama’s senior campaign adviser Robert Gibbs and CBS News correspondents Norah O’Donnell, David Martin and Mandy Clark.
FACE THE NATION is broadcast Sundays (10:30-11:00 AM, ET; check local listings) on the CBS Television Network. Mary Hager is the Executive Producer. FACE THE NATION is one of the longest-running news programs in the history of television. It premiered on CBS on Nov. 7, 1954.
