Missing premieres tonight on ABC in the 8pm Thursday timeslot that some refer to as the “death slot”.

Will its viewers be missing?

Here are some data points for your handicapping assistance:

  • In seven Thursday 8pm airings last Fall, Charlie’s Angels averaged just a 1.37 adults 18-49 rating, with the series premiere its high at a 2.1 rating.
  • Since Charlie’s Angels disappeared in early November, I don’t believe that ABC has run an original scripted show in that slot, opting for specials and Wipeout (the ratings of which I do not store).
  • No Big Bang Theory on CBS tonight, but the opening night of the NCAA Men’s Basketball tournament instead.

What’s your guess?
