It's certain that CBS will cancel A Gifted Man and Unforgettable, as well as at least one of the CSI offspring (NY or Miami). More sitcom time could save Rules of Engagement and/or Rob, but without it, they're both likely gone too.

Two and a Half Men will certainly be renewed. It's just a matter of settling how much Ashton Kutcher will get paid. Somewhere between a lot and a whole bunch is my guess.

The Renew / Cancel Index above includes results beginning January 2, 2012. How did CBS' shows stack up based on their Fall results? Click here.

*shows no longer on the air have their Renew/Cancel Index "frozen" at the point they left the schedule.

  •     - certain to be renewed by May, 2012

The Renew/Cancel Index is the ratio of a scripted show's new episode adults 18-49 ratings relative to the new episode ratings of the other scripted shows on its own network. It's calculated by dividing a show's new episode Live+Same Day adults 18-49 average rating by the Live+Same Day new episode average of all the new scripted show episodes on the show's own network. The network's average ratings in the calculation are not time weighted (ex. hour long shows are not weighted twice what 30 minute shows are).

(F) -Fridays: Shows airing on Fridays were renewed with significantly lower than average Indexes.

I love A Gifted Man but not so much Unforgettable. Please bring back at least one of them. Also, Rules of Engagement can go and so can Two and a Half Men. It’s not the same without Charlie. I’m not a Kutcher fan.

  • Angela

I know alot of people that are very upset that the Gifted Man & Unforgetable will be cancelled. They are great shows,Gifted Man is different and just great to watch. Get rid of some of the reality shows some of them are gross…………..

  • Angela

DO NOT CANCEL GIFTED MAN & UNFORGETTABLE

  • Michele

Keep A Gifted Man on! It’s such a good show! Don’t cancel it!

  • Pat

very upset about losing the Gifted Man. one of the best shows with a good story each week. what does it take to have a good show stay on rather than so many of all the crazy reality shows? some nights there’s nothing decent to watch. the comedy shows are mostly pitiful. thank goodness for PBS

  • Janet

The Gifted Man is one of the best shows I have seen in years! I can’t believe you would cancel it. I always looked so forward to Friday night at 8:00 so I could see it. Had to make sure we were home from dinner in time to see it – if not, we had to order a pizza and eat in front of the TV! I couldn’t even stand recording it if I had to wait to see it!!! Bring it back ASAP!!!

  • Carole

    I

  • Bill

Gifted Man cancelled? My wife & I both love that show! Great cast, plus the storyline finally became interesting with Patrick Wilson & Rachel LeFevbre (sp?). I saw in Entertainment Weekly that the show was in the top 25 shows the last couple of weeks of airing.

It was just starting to build an audience…much like Seinfeld & Cheers did in their first seasons. To the suits at CBS….SAVE THIS SHOW!

  • Blondie

Why are you cancelling the Gifted Man, that is the BEST show of this last season. WHY WHY WHY???????????? Get it back on the air. PLEASE

  • Lily

“A Gifted Man” is one of the few good shows on television worth watching! I wish they would try it on another weeknight besides Friday. Friday is a kiss of death night for a lot of struggling shows that may not have had an opportunity to find their core audience. Friday, for lack of a better description is an “activity” night. Come on CBS….give it another chance!!

  • jana

I miss gifted man and unforgetable. I look so forward to both of these shows. Friday was my favorite day to watch CBS. Please consider renewing these shows.

  • mary6205

Please don’t cancel Gifted Man it is my very very favorite show, I never miss an episode, youi could not have picked a better actor for the part than Patrick Wilson, he is great.

  • Linda Thomas

I truly can’t believe you would leave on that silly Undercover Boss, which is so predictable every week. Unforgettable is so well done and fantastic writing, that I live to watch every week. Please don’t cancel Unforgettable they are such a Great team and have really began to be friends as well as associates. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

    Linda Thomas CBS major fan

  • Tess

PLEASE REINSTATE ‘A GIFTED MAN’ because it is inspirational! It is also one of the shows that has substance and good morals. I am tired of other shows that has so much violence.

  • Suzanne

We LOVE “A Gifted Man” and enjoy “Unforgettable”….why would the network cancel 2 such good shows and leave some of the garbage on that they do????????????? PLEASE RENEW

  • Jack

Gifted & Unforgettable were the only 2 bright spots on your network this season.

  • Barbara

A Gifted Man and Unforgettable – 2 great shows according to me and my family and friends who have been faithful viewers. These shows are different and interesting and should not be cancelled. Take off some of those reality shows instead and shows that are in poor taste. Again, please do not cancel A Gifted Man and Unforgettable. Thank you.

  • Ellen

Please do not cancel a gifted man. It is a great show. There are a lot of shows on that are not as near as good.

  • melinee Freeman

I can not beleive A Gifted Man has been cancelled! So our family watched it. More garbage, blood and killings I guess. We have enough of that on the news.

  • JED

I only watch 2 shows on this whole network – “Hawaii 5-0″ and “2 Broke Girls”. Those crime and psychic shows are a cliché now, and you’d think CBS could not come up with more diverse programming. I love TV, but this network – well, needs a great big shake up to appeal to anyone new (or me).
