New York, New York – April 5, 2012 – As part of the Red Bull Signature Series, the Dumont Cup airs Tuesday, April 10 on NBC Sports Network at 12 a.m. ET/9:30 p.m. PT. The top names in slopestyle skiing, including Gus Kenworthy, Jossi Wells and Nick Goepper descended on Sunday River Ski Resort in Maine to battle it out at the fourth annual competition run by freeskiing legend Simon Dumont. The skiers enjoyed sunny skies and spring conditions as they took to the course designed by Dumont, sliding rails and throwing corked spins in a fun and laid-back atmosphere. The broadcast is hosted by Sal Masekela, a definitive voice in action sports and entertainment.

Red Bull athlete Dumont created the competition at his home mountain to focus on showcasing the best amateurs in New England, and give back to the scene that offered him a springboard to the global stage of freeskiing. Since its inception the event has expanded to a destination stop on the contest circuit for the best professionals in the sport.

The Dumont Cup is part of the Red Bull Signature Series – made up of 35 hours of one-of-a-kind programming on NBC and NBC Sports all year long. Red Bull Media House and Alli Sports, a division of the NBC Sports Group, are building the most progressive and innovative snowboarding, mountain biking, freestyle motocross, ice cross downhill, skiing and BMX events, showcased on custom courses from the inspiration of the athletes themselves.
