Uh, what happened to all the messages here?
I don’t know
Someone said someone in the industry was treated horrible. So they had everything taken off.
Something happened to comments on the whole site. Not just this thread. One of the owners of the site just posted in the regular ratings thread that they were all gone.
Deadline Hollywood is reporting the GH has been renewed and the Revolution has been axed…we’ll see if tvbythenumbers will have the story sometime.
02Justin10, Thanks for the update! You have made my day!
LONG LIVE GH!!!
I tried to link the Deadline article, but couldn’t. I saw it on We love Soaps website. WOOT WOOT!!!!
LOL MBmom! So happy! Good for you too, You won’t have to watch one week of the Revolution!
Yeah Chrisann! Loving GH!
From Deadline.com: “The Revolution” will be pulled from the schedule effective July 5 and replaced by “GMA In the Afternoon” on July 9. That will air until “Katie” debuts in September. The Deadline article does not make clear if GH will move to 2:00 p.m. in July – with “GMA In the Afternoon” airing at 3:00 p.m. – or wait until September.
Richard, did they say why the comments were removed?
MBmom, I think it was a glitch of some kind. Not done on purpose.
MBMomof3…it’s all your fault that the comments were removed!! You made Mr. Robert Iger mad, so he used his power to get every comment deleted. You were warned!!!
JayTN, LMAO
The website mediabistro.com’s TV Newser seems to contradict the Deadline article. Newser says that “GMA In the Afternoon” – which it says WILL air (live) at 2:00 p.m., in direct competition with CBS’s “The Talk” – will beginning airing in mid-June instead of early July.
I’m sure soap fans don’t really care when “The Revolution” is ending, just that it IS ending.
It is no rumor. General Hospital has indeed been chosen by ABC over the The Revolution.
I hope General Hospital does realize that this is the last I mean the LAST chance it is getting. So the show better start putting Sonny, Jason and Carly in the backburner and fast … or else.
Nevertheless, I do want to congratulate General Hospital over its victory.
What a great week! Sherry (the VIEW) was eliminated from DWTS and now GH has been re-newed at least for awhile. I know ABC’s daytime issues are not Sherry or any of the ABC’s talk shows faults, but ANY and ALL bad news tied to those idiot shows MAKES A GREAT WEEK FOR ME! — and I don’t even watch GH! LMAO!
Whoa — just read an article that DAYS has fired 4 stars — Muldoon, Clark, Ashford, and Sarah Brown. The article went on to say that they will be last airing this summer, July I think, because that’s how far out the show has already been taped. Really??? Here’s what I don’t understand with ALL the remaining soaps. Beause of the uncertain future for all these shows, which in turn is warranting constant changes with writers, actors, etc., why are these shows taping so far out, that once you’ve made a change, that change will not show up on screen for MONTHS down the road? Is that really the best soap business model today? Why not be a few weeks ahead, and then once a decision for a change has been made (and those are obviously going to continue), the new changes will show up almost instantly on screen SO THAT YOUR VIEWERS CAN RESPOND WITH DIFFERENT VIEWING HABITS SOONER, which MIGHT translate to your ratings improvement sooner. I’m really not getting this….
WOW…guess they are trying to save that show by doing anything they can. Who’s Sarah Brown ? They must be realizing the retooling of the show didn’t work and bringing back old characters didn’t work either …
