The premiere of Starz' Magic City averaged over 2.5 million across multiple telecasts and venues. Note, the 2.5 million includes last week's sneak peek (after the Spartacus: Vengeance finale) and also includes 3 days worth of DVR viewing for last week's viewings (this past weekend's telecasts only has live viewing plus same day DVR viewing).
A record multi-platform sampling campaign of the first three episodes with began on March 30th and has delivered more than 1.55 million viewers to-date, including:
- 730,000 viewers (Live +3) for the sneak peak of the first episode on STARZ, which followed the Spartacus finale (March 30 at 11pm et/pt)
- 670,000 on-demand views to date
Broadcasts of the “Magic City” on its official premiere weekend on STARZ delivered 965,000 total viewers, including 423,000 on Friday night, April 6 (10pm et/pt & 11pm et/pt airings).
Magic City was renewed for a second season prior to its first season premiere.
