NEW YORK (AP) — Sarah Palin is largely responsible for the “Today” show repelling the Katie Couric challenge.
The Nielsen ratings company said Monday that NBC’s morning show beat ABC’s “Good Morning America” by a margin of 210,000 viewers in the ratings last week. That’s one week after the gap between the two shows shrank to 119,000, the smallest in seven years.
I was more than a mere fart, however potent. It was as if Bill decided to tweak the site.
How does it go? Do as I do not as I say or do as I say but not if I do it or do as you want if your name is Obama or something like that1
Obama White House pays women less than men, records show
Female employees in the Obama White House make considerably less than their male colleagues, records show.
According to the 2011 annual report on White House staff, female employees earned a median annual salary of $60,000, which was about 18 percent less than the median salary for male employees ($71,000).
The Obama campaign on Wednesday lashed out at presumptive GOP nominee Mitt Romney for his failure to immediately endorse the Lilly Ledbetter Fair Pay Restoration Act, a controversial law enacted in 2009 that made it easier to file discrimination lawsuits.
President Obama has frequently criticized the gender pay gap, such as the one that exists in White House.
“Paycheck discrimination hurts families who lose out on badly needed income,” he said in a July 2010 statement. “And with so many families depending on women’s wages, it hurts the American economy as a whole.”
It is not known whether any female employees at the White House have filed lawsuits under the Ledbetter Act.
The president and his Democratic allies have accused Republicans of waging a “war on women,” and have touted themselves as champions of female equality. Obama’s rhetoric, however, has not always been supported by his actions.

What the saddest part about the comments being cleared is I had posted the most well thought out and most intelligent post ever to be posted anywhere..Darn I can’t remember what I posted though
I think it was when you posted “Good Morning”

I think it was when you posted “Good Morning
THATS IT!!! Thanks.
The sun was up and it just came to me to say that because it was morning and wouldn’t have made any sense at all to say that at sunset because thats when the sun goes down. Told ya I was somwwhat smart
MSNBC’s Sharpton has led several rallies, shouting “Arrest Zimmerman Now!” and has called for civil disobedience and an “occupation” in Sanford, Fla., if an arrest is not made………………………..and now……………………..
Eric Holder Praises Left-Wing Activist Al Sharpton, Says Facts, Law Will Guide Trayvon Martin Investigation
Attorney General Eric Holder praised left-wing activist Rev. Al Sharpton at the opening of the National Action Network (NAN) convention on Wednesday, and also stressed that the Justice Department is conducting a thorough investigation of the fatal Trayvon Martin shooting that “will examine the facts and the law.”
Sharpton, president of NAN and host of MSNBC’s Politics Nation, has led several rallies demanding the arrest of George Zimmerman, who reportedly shot Martin on Feb. 26. On Mar. 30 in Sanford, Fla., where the shooting occurred, Sharpton pledged that his group would “move to the next level if Zimmerman isn’t arrested.”
At the opening of NAN’s 14th annual convention in Washington, D.C., the attorney general first thanked MSNBC’s Rev. Sharpton “for your partnership, your friendship, and your tireless efforts to speak out for the voiceless, to stand up for the powerless, and to shine a light on the problems we must solve, and the promises we must fulfill.”
Concerning Trayvon Martin, Holder said, “I know that many of you are greatly — and rightly — concerned about the recent shooting death of 17-year-old Trayvon Martin, a young man whose future has been lost to the ages.”
“As most of you know, three weeks ago, the Department of Justice launched an investigation into this incident, which remains open at this time, and prevents me from talking in detail about this matter,” he said.
“Although I cannot share where current efforts will lead us from here, I can assure you that, in this investigation – and in all cases – we will examine the facts and the law,” said Holder. “If we find evidence of a potential federal criminal civil rights crime, we will take appropriate action. And, at every step, the facts and the law will guide us forward.
UPDATE: Shortly after we published the statement from Fox News, Gawker posted a statement of their own, purportedly from the still-free mole.
“If Fox has smoked me out, it’s news to me. I’m still here. Back to work.”
We have contacted Fox News and are awaiting a response.
We told you this whole thing would be fun to watch.
SECOND UPDATE: Fox News got back to us and reiterated their previous statement. It’s important to note that their first statement did not say that they had confronted or fired the person yet. The spokesperson went on to give another, equally brief statement.
“We know who it is.”
@Ratboy: >>> Eric Holder Praises Left-Wing Activist Al Sharpton, Says Facts, Law Will Guide Trayvon Martin Investigation <<<
Holder has been on the wrong side of everything. As our nation's chief law enforcer, he wanted war criminals to be tried in downtown Manhattan, instead of Gitmo…and is now siding with Sharpie on race relations.
Holder and the ACLU have been working hand-in-hand, so it seems.
Nice choise of locations!! Sometimes you just have to wonder if they are using their daughters as the advisors!!
Michelle Turns the East Room Into a Gym
by Keith Koffler on April 11, 2012, 10:31 am
Michelle Obama appeared on NBC’s “The Biggest Loser” last night, working out with a group of contestants in the East Room.
This doesn’t really seem like the proper use of this exquisite, historic chamber – a national treasure that has hosted events like presidential press conferences, the signing of landmark legislation like the 1964 Civil Rights Act, and the funeral of Abraham Lincoln.
I mean, they could have at least put some mats down.

Now that we have “Media Justice” I hope they don’t release the video and save it for trial, because the media (some) will just edit it to show what they want it to show.
Once they pick a jury, they need to hold the jury so they get “zero” media coverage, problem is that may be to late for this case.

With hundreds of rejects like yours I found that if you hit the back page buttom the site should come back with your post being shown.

With the Florida law, if this exsists but an arrest and charges are filed there will be a major uproar. Even is only the jury sees it the Florida law allows force when threatened. This is a no win situation. If not arrested and charged there will be ugly reprocussions. If charged and it comes out that the prosecutor heard and saw evidence such as witnesses and video to support the invocation of the law there will be ugly reprocussions. The media has messed this one up real real bad and there is no good way out of it.
EPA Forces Bus Contractor to Pay Thousands for ‘Excessive Idling’
As a part of their ongoing crusade to reduce everyone’s carbon footprint, the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has come down hard on the nation’s second largest school bus contractor with fines and “mandatory environmental projects” amounting to approximately $500,000 as punishment for “excessive idling.”
“As part of a settlement for alleged excessive diesel idling in Connecticut, Massachusetts and Rhode Island, Durham School Services will commit to reduce idling from its school bus fleet of 13,900 buses operating in 30 states,” an EPA press release stated on Tuesday.
The case started two years ago when one of the unelected environmental watchdogs noticed buses of the Durham School Services would idle for what they felt were “excessive” amounts of time.
“State rules limit idling to three minutes in Connecticut and five minutes in Massachusetts and Rhode Island, where the infractions occurred,” writes CNS’ Elizabeth Harrington.
@ Coffee Steve and Ratboy
It’s also being reported that she will go for manslaughter and hope for a conviction
