EPA Forces Bus Contractor to Pay Thousands for ‘Excessive Idling’

It’s how I leave my Carbon Footprint :-)

have a great evening guys, gettng ready for class tonight

“If charged and it comes out that the prosecutor heard and saw evidence such as witnesses and video to support the invocation of the law there will be ugly reprocussions.”

This is completely missing the point. Zimmerman being attacked, and being justified in using lethal force at that point in time, does not negate him from responsibility if he potentially provoked that situation in the first place. If I go and call someone a p*ssy over and over until they retaliate and start pounding me, I might be both justified in shooting them to save my life, and still accountable for creating a situation in which deadly force was used.

It’s not as if Trayvon walked out of his house that day and said “Hmm, gonna buy some Skittles, then pound some random guy’s head into the pavement, in the middle of a populated neighborhood!” There were two people responsible for the resulting confrontation, and the jury will have to decide whether or not Zimmerman’s irresponsibility rose to a criminal level.

  • Ratboy

    @ Matthew

The point that I was making is that the way this has been played in the media, no matter which way it goes it will be treated ugly by the opposing side. It has already been tried and comnvicted in the media and you nor I nor anyone other than Zimmerman and maybe some witnesses know what happened.

What if you are right or what if Trayvon DID go out lookiong for skittles and a fight? At this point the thing has been moved out of the range of objective justise in the eyes of both opposing sides. Again, the media really botched this one!!

  • Matthew

Yes, the media has made things worse, as they always do, but you’d be surprised at how frequently they can still find uninformed jury pools; It’s hard to separate the liars from the genuinely uninformed, but these people exist. I’ve tried talking with my friends about things like the Supreme Court hearing on Obamacare, or the Koran burning incident with Afghanistan, and it never ceases to amaze me how often people are unaware of significant events going on.

I dont worry about finding a jury, I worry about the loons OUTSIDE the courtroom!!
