I think the popularity and buzz of Rachel’s new book is beginning to reflect in her ratings. #1 on the NY Times Best Sellers List and so far the sales for Rachel’s book are skewing a lot younger, unlike Bill O’s books,. Rachel’s show gets a lot of views online and I think this pretty much proves her young viewers watch her on the net and not on television like older viewers still get their news.

“Obama is now co-opting Ronald Reagan. Ronald Reagan! Democrats have to cite Reagan to get things done. If they’re gonna win reelection, they have to somehow associate one of the most popular, respected, beloved presidents ever with their perverted, obscene, destructive policies.” -Rush Limbaugh

I don’t think the Democrats are co-opting RR, they basically are pointing out the simple fact stuff Reagan passed or policies he had 30 years ago would be considered “socialism” in today’s Republican party(such as his 7 tax increases). it is sort of funny when you see some Republicans turn RR into this cult like figure that if he tried passing some stuff today that he did 30 years ago the far right would want his head.

“Good numbers for lawrence and rachel ..chris and al were up too .poor ed’s numbers were down”

Not sure why Ed’s was so low, maybe to much Trayvon. I said it before and I will say it again Rachel Maddow is smart for minimally covering it, people who turn into MSNBC want to see 60 minutes of why the Republicans suck, not some court case in Florida.

So you think you’re having bad weather in your area.

North of Amarillo, TX on highway 287/87, 2-½ feet of hail fell today. Many cars in bar-ditches and then covered by the hail. State and county snowplows clearing the roadway.

  • lbsles

Picture of hail in the panhandle of Texas.

Any recent links by any chance? I haven’t seen it in a couple of years, and from what I remember O’Reilly used to beat Maddow online.

“Robert Seidman, a ratings guru for the website TV By the Numbers” was quoated by CNBC yesterday. Take a bow, Robert.

@lbsles: >>> Why is the Obama administration hiring 4,000 new agents for the implementation? <<<

The sadder part of that factoid is the fact that these people will lose their jobs when the Supreme Court strikes down the law. I'm glad SCOTUS is not waiting until AFTER the Election to make a ruling on ObamaCareless.

And, with 6 and 7 mag. earthquakes hitting both Oregon and Mexico, I'm really glad that I didn't buy that piece of property along the San Andreas Faultline!

Maybe a lot of MSNBC viewers DON'T want to hear why "the Republicans suck." and that's why they're tuning out in droves. Who was the loudest mouth on MSNBC telling his audience "why the Republicans suck?" Keith Olbermann.
Where is HE now? Suing Current (and current holder of license plate LIBERAL2) for firing his ass. Former VP and Clinton lapdog Al Gore.

Look at the ratings a month ago, there were higher then normal. Look at what the big issue was that was on the network(ie Rush Limbaugh). As I said Why Republicans suck is what people tune in for, not Trayvon Martin.

O’Reilly used to beat Maddow big time online, you’re right. i have not checked in quite some time I am busy with this site and I follow the Radio Talk ratings!
I turned CNN on a few minutes ago trying to catvh something about the earthquakes. Well, I can see why their ratings are so low, Morgan was so out of line and flat out lying to GZ’s brother! Earlier someone provided a link to a CNN blog with the story of the arrest and the comments were 10 to 1 saying he was over charged or how the radicals are dictating to the Prosecutors…………out right lies!
Which is why the slime networks are such a distants from bigtime # 1 FOX!

Thank you. Did Rush Limbaugh lose viewers over the Fluke remarks? I can’t remember whether Arbitron kept track of talk radio ratings. I used to follow KFRC and KYA ratings in SF, but it was a long time ago, when they played oldies.

I have seen some stats, not widely reported, that he gained quite a bit hundreds of thousands per week!
