NBC Results: 'The Voice' is #1 Tuesday Night, Setting a Season High for NBCin the Slot; 'Fashion Star' Up 20%; NBC Ties for #1 Tuesday Night

  • NBC is tied for the nightlong Tuesday win in adults 18-49 versus all-original, all-regular competition on ABC, CBS and Fox, with solid week-to-week gains for all three NBC Tuesday series.
  • From 8-9 p.m. ET, "The Biggest Loser 13" (2.2/7 in 18-49, 6.7 million viewers overall) is up week to week by 10 percent in 18-49 rating (to a 2.2 from a 2.0) and up 4 percent in total viewers (6.686 million vs. 6.415 million). These are the top “Biggest Loser” results in 18-49 and total viewers in three weeks (since March 20).
  • The Biggest Loser" grew solidly from its first half-hour to its second in every key category, including gains of 20 percent in 18-49 rating (to a 2.4 from a 2.0) and 15 percent in total viewers (7.2 million vs. 6.2 million).
  • From 9-10 p.m. ET, The Voice Results Show (3.5/9 in 18-49, 8.9 million viewers overall) is the #1 telecast of the night on ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox in adults 18-49 versus all-original, all-regular programming on those networks. The Voice” delivered week-to-week increases versus last week’s Tuesday premiere of 9 percent in 18-49 rating (to a 3.5 from a 3.2) and 5 percent in total viewers (8.869 million vs. 8.450 million).
  • The Voice” won the hour in 18-49 by a 52 percent margin (with a 3.5 rating vs. a 2.3 each for CBS’s NCIS: LA,” ABC’s “Dancing With the Stars” and Fox’s “New Girl” and “Raising Hope). “The Voice” is also #1 among ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox in the time period in adults 18-34, adults 25-54 and other key demos.
  • The Voice” set season highs for NBC in the time slot, while improving on the network’s season averages in this hour by 52 percent in 18-49 rating (with a 3.5 vs. a 2.3, “live plus same day”) and by 40 percent or 2.5 million persons in total viewers (8.869 million vs. 6.331 million).
  • From 10-11 p.m. ET, Fashion Star (1.8/5 in 18-49, 4.6 million viewers overall) jumped week to week by 20 percent in 18-49 rating (to a 1.8 from a 1.5) and 13 percent in total viewers (4.647 million vs. 4.111 million) to equal its series high in 18-49 rating. Fashion Star” tied NBC’s highest 18-49 rating in this time period since February 28.
  • Fashion Star” is tied for #2 in the hour among ABC, CBS and NBC in adults 18-49, within 0.1 of a rating point of first place, and is #1 among those networks in adults 18-34.
