Me, first? CNN had an up-tick (if that’s a word) over MSNBC last night.
Al Sharpie came close to being #3 in the 6-7(et) hour.
Finally, “Hardball” gets a million-plus total during the 7:00 pm Eastern Time Hours. OK, it’s because it was a live follow-up to a breaking news story. “Hardball” routinely gets a million-plus in the two showings every day. I notice that hockey is being shown on CNBC. What’s hockey doing on a business channel? Which raises the point: what’s business doing on the Fox Business Channel? It’s supposed to be a right-wing echo chamber.
“The Obama administration has just effectively, whether they know it or not, launched a War on Motherhood via Hilary Rosen on CNN. They are not content to just divide men and women. They want to go deeper and divide working mothers from stay-at-home mothers.” -Rush Limbaugh
“Hilary Rosen apologized to Ann Romney and anybody else that she offended, and then she says, ‘It’s time to declare peace on this phony war.’ Phony war? That’s obviously a reference to the war on women! Well, whose phony war on women is it? Who started it? The White House, in conjunction with Stephanopoulos.” -Rush Limbaugh
More importantly, it appears the CNN kicked MSNBC’s a*s in the demo except for 9-10pm.
From Glenn Beck
“Farrakhan: Jesus was a Muslim
If there’s one thing Louis Farrakhan is good at, it’s being controversial. His latest speech proved it. He called the Prophet Elijah the n-word, and went on to claim that Jesus was a black Muslim. What are Farrakhan’s real motivations besides controversy?”
“Justice is blind? Not in the Obama administration
At this point one has to wonder if Obama is just messing with conservative talk show hosts. Who in their right mind would let Eric Holder go speak at an Al Sharpton event just days after Sharpton indicated that he and his group would seek vigilante justice if Zimmerman wasn’t arrested? Only someone as arrogant as Obama.”
Pretty blah ratings considering the developments in the Trayvon Martin case.
Tonight’s numbers should be interesting due to the Obama/Hilary Rose scandal that continues to grow.
Laurence Glavin: CNBC has aired hockey and other sports when the Olympics come on every four years. They make no bones that outside of airing new documentaries, the rest of their primetime hours are reruns.
And yeah, FOX Business Network tried to be FOX News 2 in primetime and outside of Lou Dobbs, failed.
This is only the beginning for the Democrats/Obama Admin. The only hope they have is to let Biden, Pelosi, and Reid call the shots from here on out….
Does America know that Harry Reid is a Mormon? I have no problem with anyone’s religion or faith. But, apparently, the Dumbocrats love going around and saying that Romney is a Mormon.
While Rosen should have apologized for her offensive words, I do believe that she brings up an intriguing underlying point, which seems to have been lost: Ann Romney has had access to a very priveleged lifestyle since she married, and, because she is the wife of a multi-millionare with access to nannys, hired help, maids, car elevators, etc. (all of which she has used), I do not think that her perspective is appropriately comparable to that of an average middle class mother who has chosen to stay at home and does not have access to the range of benefits that come from unlimited funds. Being a mother is a hard job. Being a mother with maids, gardeners, tutors, nannies, and car elevators, I would think, is not as difficult.
I am not sure what responsibilities Ann had beyond those she had hired help for – and certainly her battle with chronic illness is notable – but I do think that if Romney tries to associate his family with average, middle class families, it should be ok to call him (or his wife) out on that false comparison.
What’s the going rate for inducing someone to commit career suicide? Apparently you can do it for five grand..
Gawker’s John Cook said the gossip website paid Joe Muto $5,000 for his contributions as “The Fox Mole”
Plus, many more Gawker dollars coming to Fox News for corporate espionage.

You should check the polls – Democrats and progressives generally tend to not care about religious beliefs in candidates. It is conservative evangelicals who generall tend to bash Mormonism. Romney’s problem is, for the most part, within his own party. It is why the nomination has lasted for so long (Romney cannot win Southern primaries dominated by conservative evangelicals).
But, apparently, the Dumbocrats love going around and saying that Romney is a Mormon.
For the most part Democrats could give 2 craps what religion the/a president is. It’s the Republicans that want a Christian. I’ve seen tons of shock jocks and people on Fox News that say “man, we are going to have a Muslim and a Mormon running for president.” “America needs Jesus”. The reason that Democrats bring it up is because the Republicans are the ones that care about it and they are pointing out that he’s a Mormon.
So Hillary Rosen bashed people who have not worked a day in their life. 80% of the democratic party have not worked and don’t want to work a day in their life. That is their base. Welfare, food stamps, section 8 housing, medicaid. You know Obama gave her a tounge lashing today
Hillay Rosen has bluberry pie all over her face.
resist we much
First, Mormons are Christians, and, second, almost all references I have seen in the press to Romney’s faith have come from conservative evangelicals. I suppose that you could say that Lawrence O’Donnel brought it up recently, but I think that was more in terms of primary analysis. That is the closest that I can think of to a Democrat bringing the subject up. I do also find it interesting that Republicans now clutch at their pearls in horror when religion is brought up even though mainstream Republican leaders regularly bring up:
1) Obama is a Christian Radical (associated with Rev. Wright)
2) Obama is a secret Muslim
3) Obama is waging a war on Christianity
4) Obama is a secular atheist
Oh the double standard.

I will assume that this is a poor attempt at humor – this statement shows a pretty shocking lack of understanding about poverty. If it was not a joke, you should seriously work to better educate yourself.
@Keynes: Go to billoreilly.com. Mr. O has a poll going that shows, overwhelmingly, that participants have no problem with Romney being a Mormon.
And, you KNOW that people who visit O’Reilly’s webpage are more likely conservatives and Republicans. Aside from actual military combat around the world, Obama is also responsible for the civil wars against any form of Christianity, people who have made money here in the U.S. (they HAVE to give more in taxes while 50% in the USA pay NO taxes), now motherhood.
It was made perfectly clean earlier this week that Obama is not running on his record. He’s running on Romney’s wealth. This President always thinks he can lie to people because the rest of us are not as smart as he is. His has a superiority complex BEYOND what a typical POTUS has had.
Had the Republican candidates just campaigned against Obama instead of themselves (almost to the bitter end), the polls would be very lopsided in favor of Romney than neck-in-neck as they are now.
Diane Sawyer’s “exclusive” interview with Romney and his wife on ABC tonight marks the official mainstream media acceptance that it’s now just Obama v. Romney.
BTW, regarding Rosen’s dumb statement about Ann Romney, we are electing a President and Vice President this November, not a First Lady to run the country. What drastic thing do some people think will happen if Ann Romney in The White House? THat she will turn The East Room into a gym? ROFLMAO.
@Keynes

I don’t know about other States, But in Kentucky a conserve voting State Romney Polls very well. For myself, I don’t care what he is, I’m a Christian and it’s just a personal thing with me, My Dad voted for Kennedy and his faith never bothered him. This talk is overblown, when it comes to voting day no ones gonna care. Its their pockets that vote.
I see Bill O is back to normal and CNN gained some.
Sorry, just because a “republican” poll overwhelmingly says people don’t care about Romneys religion, that doesn’t make your statement “But, apparently, the Dumbocrats love going around and saying that Romney is a Mormon.” any more true. You might have seen a few “Dumbocrats” saying that, but I hate to tell you, MOST “Dumbocrats” don’t care, it’s the REPUBLICANS are the ones that care. Just look at Glenn Beck and his new shirt for Romney. Just look at your friends and families facebook status’(if you have one). Republicans are overwhelmingly upset that the person that they have to vote for over Obama is a Mormon. Only reason “dumbocrats” bring it up is because they know Republicans care so much about it that they try to call Obama a Muslim and for that reason alone is a reason he shouldn’t be president.
Democrats have a lot of ‘stay at home moms’ that vote for them…
These moms have up to five or more kids oftrn with a different father…
They never work and are on welfare with everything free….
