Great grab for Diane Sawyer! I’ll be watching. :)

  • Nick

Who cares, what a sorry excuse for an election this is shaping up to be. More of the same…

  • Mark

Gonna be awesome. The Obama/Hilary Rosen scandal just keeps growing.

  • Annie O

    Oh Diane,
please ask her is she got a phone call from the president with an apology after being demonized by Ms Rosen, the liberal pundit, ……..just as Ms Fluke got an apology phoe call after being demonized by Rush Limbaugh, the conservative pudit…….
(.I dare ya, …… but I doubt you will, because you are a liberal too…..we will have to wait for FOX news to ask that question).

  • Silence is Golden

Am I missing something here, it is okay that our President right now, is on every freaking TV show, but the man who opposes his views is a joke. This country will never get together…………

  • H5O Fan

Okay, people who acutally posted here, how many have voted, that is a pretty easy question. I will bet my ass, that you big mouths have never voted in your life, and not have a clue what is going on. Again America is strong if we get it. DO NOT VOTE PARTY, VOTE SMART.

  • Ralph Hahn

I always vote except for school board elections. Since a law was passed here in NJ, most towns will be electing school board candidates and voting on school budgets on the Election Day ballot in November.

(Here…the biggest chunk of property taxes goes to the school districts.
A much bigger turnout expected since Joe Schmoe, wannabe school board member, will now be on the same ballot as POTUS, not on a separate day in April.

  • Kevin

    Yeah… I won’t be watching that.

  • RJ

    @H5O Fan,

I’ve voted in every election since I’ve been able to vote. If I can’t make it to the polls that day, I request an absentee ballot. I’m a well educated voter who makes decisions based on policy, not party.

  • Chaz

Romney is no better then Obama.

Romney isn’t the nominee yet anyway. When he gets 1144 delegates then he can be called the presumptive nominee. Tbh since we as a nation have a track record of electing but holes, it wouldn’t surprise me at all if Robme is the next freaking President.

The Democrats or 3rd party needs to offer a damn good candidate in 2016.

  • Chaz

    @H50 Fan

18 2 days before election day. I’m casting my vote for Ron Paul no matter what. If he dies or whatever, my vote is going to the Libertarian Party (who’s candidate will probably be Gary Johnson).

No way in hell I will cast my vote for Obama. I feel the same exact way for Romney. I want to fix the mess not slow it down or escalate it. Paul is the only one capable of fixing the mess. Gary Johnson is pretty capable too; to a degree he is even more successful than Paul- balancing the budget in one of the bluest states in America as a Republican/Libertarian. New Mexico sees him as the second coming.

I would like to ask Mr. Romney what would be a solution to our border problems with Mexico. The killings and drug trade are undermining our American Society as well as innocent Mexicans. The Obama adminstration has made little progress on stopping this. Do we need our Homeland Security to take agressive measures to secure the peace and prosperity.

No need to publish please ask about this if you can..Thank you!

WOW… Mr & Mrs. President Romney.
see Repulicans go on other left winger stations to give interviews even though they say all bad things to bring Replicans down.
Hope Dianne sawyer steps up and be a professional and give a fair and balance interview(like a FOX News). NBC and all other Networks other than FOX, they give very easy and more friendly interviews to Obama/Democrates but Not Replicans. Hope Dianne will be a pro like Bill O’Reily. I will watching her interview very closly for the first time.

GOP committee to check background of what President in office-no new taxes-but they did in an unfounded way-through eliminating the credit card interest off of income taxes. With gas prices high, loss of jobs, forclosure of homes, economy so far down, credit cards maxed out to live on and to buy food. We all need help, bring the deductions back again. Diane ask Romney about this?

  • Sheryl

Ask Ann Romney if she ever had a housekeeper, gardener, cook, etc? I bet she does not clean her many homes. The average working mother or working mother outside the home don’t have such luxury.

DIANE SAWYER PLEASE ASK GOVERNOR MITT ROMNEY IF THIS IS A TRUE STORY:

Mitt Romney was faced with a crisis in July 1996. The 14-year-old daughter of Robert Gay, a partner in Romney’s new venture capital firm, Bain Capital, had disappeared. As it turned out, she had attended a rave party in New York City and had become high on ecstasy. Three days later, her distraught father had no idea where she was.

Romney took immediate action. He closed down the entire firm and asked all 30 partners and employees to fly to New York to try to find Gay’s daughter.

Romney set up a command center in a conference room at the LaGuardia Marriott just outside Manhattan. He hired a private detective firm to assist with the search and established a toll-free number for tips, coordinating the effort with the New York City Police Department, but he still wasn’t satisfied. He raced through his Rolodex and called everyone Bain did business with in New York. He asked them to help his company find their friend’s missing daughter.

The company’s accounting firm, PricewaterhouseCoopers, and its law firm, put up posters on street poles with a photo of the missing teenager. Cashiers at Duane Reade Pharmacies, which was owned by Bain Capital, put fliers in the bag of each shopper.

Romney and others from the Bain Capital posse trudged through every part of New York, even scouring Central Park, and talked with everyone they could – prostitutes, drug addicts – anyone who may have seen her. They also made rounds at the local nightclubs at 3 a.m., hoping someone somewhere could identify her.
The same day the Romney team came to New York, the hunt made the evening news. Television cameras showed photos of the girl and video of investment banker types prowling through Central Park.

The next day, a teenage boy she was with phoned in. He asked if there was a reward. But the boy got nervous and quickly hung up. Luckily, the police traced the call to a home in Montville Township, N.J.
Gay’s daughter, when they found her in the basement of that home, was shivering through detox after a massive dose of ecstasy. Doctors later told Gay that he was indeed fortunate – his daughter probably would not have lasted another day.

“It was the most amazing thing, and I’ll never forget this to the day I die,” Gay says, adding of Romney’s intervention, “I’m not sure we would have gotten her back without him.”

It is often during a crisis that we gain insight into a person’s real character. Romney’s action demonstrated leadership, loyalty, and selflessness – attributes that Americans just might like to see in a president of the United States.

    QUESTION TO GOVERNOR MITT ROMNEY:

GOVERNOR DID YOU SHUT DOWN YOUR COMPANY AND SET UP A COMMAND POST IN NEW YORK CITY TO SEARCH FOR AND FINALLY FIND A MISSING TEENAGER THE DAUGHTER OF A PARTNER IN YOUR FIRM? THE STORY IS THIS:

DO YOU THINK THAT THIS ACTION ON YOUR PART IS SOMETHING THE AMERICAN PEOPLE SHOULD KNOW ABOUT YOU? It is often during a crisis that we gain insight into a person’s real character.
