Burbank, CA (April 13, 2012) – ABC Family has begun production on the new drama series, “Bunheads,” filming in Los Angeles. Set to premiere on Monday, June 11th at 9:00pm ET/PT,“Bunheads” is the tale of a Las Vegas showgirl who impulsively marries a man, moves to his sleepy coastal town, and takes an uneasy role at her new mother-in-law’s dance school.

The only reason I’m giving this show a chance is because of Amy. If her name weren’t attached I don’t think I’d be the least bit curious especially with that lackluster first promo ABC Family.

I think the cast is what’s getting me excited for this. Kelly Bishop, Alan Ruck, Stacey Oristano, Rose Abdoo. Awesome lineup.
Never herd of any of these cast members.
Even with Amy attached, that extended preview doesn’t do a thing for me.
The cast doesn’t particularly excite either.

As a devoted fan, I research entertainment news websites on a frequent basis and I have not read any confirmation that The Lying Game has been renewed.
This doesn’t sound like a winner and there’s no star power in this cast at all.

While I agree, couldn’t you say the same thing about Gilmore Girls? It ended up being a success. You never know what some people might like.
I love Gillmore Girls so, i will check this show out. It could be a good show.
I think this show could go either way as ABC Family has a pretty solid audience for their hit dramas so if this gets a Gilmore Girls type audience then it will work.
How do you expect to get viewers for a show with a name like “Bunheads”? That has got to be pne of the worst names of a show in recent history, right up there with “Are You There, Chelsea?”, “Cougar Town”, and “You Deserve It”.
Im looking foward to this and cws Breaking Pointe, two shows about ballet. Ill also watch Rizzoli&Isels, Drop Dead Diva,Jane by Design, Pretty Little Liars,maybe Star Next Door this summer.
