With 3.174 million total viewers, The O’Reilly Factor once again drew more viewers than most (4 out of 5 shows) of the NBC broadcast network’s beleaguered Thursday night lineup. The O’Reilly Factor outdrew Community (3.091 million), 30 Rock (2.984 million), Up All Night (3.121 million) and Awake (2.677 million). The only NBC show that tallied more viewers than The O’Reilly Factor last night was The Office (4.395 million).

“liberals should not be alowed to procreate. what a wonderful world it would be”
Hahaha, I know, right? Nothing says “I favor a small government and the protection of life” like advocating for eugenics.
@jmr
Some of the better qualities of liberals….
L-ludicrous
I-irrational
B-blasphemy
E-entitlement
R-raunchy
A-arrogant
L-looser
As I read these last 10 comments on here, I’m sitting here thinking, “people in here have said OBAMA is trying to divide this country?” Seems to me the people who just posted in here are dividing the country more than he EVER can.
UGH!!! another one of those people that think looser is the same word as looser…..
woops…..the last looser should be loser…..LOL
@UpAndOver
Totally Well said
100% Agree and that also goes to that Looser Wayne.
loser = Lost(Obama) + Looser(Obama)
So when Up and Comer calls Democra’s “looser”, does he/she/it mean that Democrats are more promiscuous than Republicans?
I rather doubt it.
loser = Lost(Obama) + Looser(Obama)
uhhhhh, what?
Please make me the moderator of the Cable News comment section. I’d use my powers for evil, but I think you’ll find my tyranny to be an improvement over the current state of affairs
Keynes wrote: “Someone remind me why MSNBC switched the much better Lawrence O’Donnel with the much worse Ed Schultz?”
MSNBC believed that a program rotation would bring higher ratings in primetime and ‘Last Word’ should be the last in the lineup. This Thursday looks “normal” (as it used to be) but more often than not MSNBC is needing far more P2+ viewers (say, ~30%) to beat CNN in the A25-54 demo (with the exception of ‘Rachel Maddow Show’).
@DB
Jeffy is back playing his childish games .Now it’s just a matter of time until ‘Queen Nancy’ will be giving her heart felt praise for Wayne J and JRM.
@Matthew
“Mean ”words aren’t the problem …… a poster can become overinvolved , which doesn’t seem to me to be too mentally healthy . A lot of what I read here lately isn’t an attempt to be open to differing opinions , which is a way to learn. Even though I’m now a Conservative , I’ve been on the other side of the fence. Rigid opinions by anyone stagnates learning. I read both sides, but, stay mostly with Conservative thought with a little Liberal thrown in. I don’t like the devolving I’ve been reading here lately, & , a lot of it is coming from the Right….. disappointing, & just one person’s opinion.
Anoint me as the Idiot King of Cable News, with authority over the miscellaneous idiots, jerks, jerk idiots, scoundrels, ne’er-do-wells, and jokers that comprise the Cable News Comment Section family. Attached to this post is a PDF that includes my prior work experience and the weight I can currently dead lift
@d.d.: The situation you’re describing is nothing new, either within this section, or in society at large. Absolutism is not confined to any particular ideology, it’s just human nature. People, especially in times of fear, seek the comfort of the familiar; Introspection and critical thought can lead to upsetting things, such as a shift in core values, and we’d rather stick our fingers in our ears and go “LA LA LA” than accept the possibility of being wrong or being part of an immoral system. This is why most Internet communities with political discussion are almost always 80% one ideology vs 20% stubborn contrarians. Most people just want to post in an echo chamber. And, in case you think I have no sense of irony, I’m aware that your criticism can apply to me as well, both within recent days, and in the past.
I have never been able to understand this seemingly burning NEED for so many Lib Dems to constantly deride anyone who dares to have a different opinion, philosophy or preferences as mentally deficient and ignorant while they heap praise upon themselves as mental giants with stellar academic credentials and impeccable taste in everything.
Perhaps it is because if they don’t make the comparisons absolutely no one else will?
Carry on with whatever soothing balm your deepest fears of your own inadequacy demands of you. As a redneck formerly barefoot, pregnant and in the kitchen you may rest assured I find all you rather amusingly pathetic.
Holy wow, someone spiked the Metamucil tonight. Y’all need a grown-up drink and a good night’s sleep.
I am an independent. I can take Fox news and CNN even if they are slightly tilted. But boy you have to be awfully DUMB to watch MSNBC. I watch their line up and throw up to see how unabashedly biased they are. I cannot take more than two minutes of hate, lies and propaganda from them….which is ALL the time. How did Americans become so stupid??? They are cutting their own legs and life.
Certainly, young man. I never turn down a double Grey Goose or even Absolut, especially from such a witty and urbane young whippersnapper such as you.
I’ve never seen any comment referencing Metamucil. Not me.
In fact your wit is so refreshingly original that I spared you my normal response about the important ingredient to any cocktail is the right vintage Metamucil.
