    Beckham ask:

By the way…when will CBS announce what they will decide to do??.

In the upfronts my friend! By the way CBS day is 17 may i think wich is Thursday!

Actually i like TBBT-2BG-POI combination! Will be killing and PoI will be monster! But not with the all potential this show have! If stay where it is can go beast bigget than NCIS! But again either way i will watched it!

Was hoping for an upward adjustment for Grey’s. Sandra Oh gave an emmy award winning performance last night.

Scandal will go down next week against The Mentalist, and GA will get lower against a new POI,

CBS is airing repeats again next week.

  • rob60990

“GA will get lower against a new POI”

Please show me proof the 2 share an audience. The show went up a whopping tenth from last week. That’s not convincing to me the 2 share audience.

  • rob60990

Also the fact that a rerun of TBBT did better than majority of POI episodes this season.

oooopsss NOPE! I was wrong sorry! Upfronts 2012!

    FOX & NBC – 14 may 2012
    ABC – 15 may 2012
    CBS – 16 may 2012
    The CW – 17 may 2012

Again? Are you sure? Two weeks in a roll dosen’t make sense! Season is almost over!

There was so much controversy on the 2 hour comedy block. People either hated it or loved it and were absolutely positive CBS would go with it. But like I said, not everything is written in stone!! The numbers weren’t as good as I thought, but they were repeats after all. But BBT looks to be amazing whether or not what time slot it’s in. But we all can’t be 100% sure about one thing or another, CBS in the end makes the decision. Do they even look at these boards?? A tough decision. But if it were me, I’d wait another year or two and find a good comedy to follow BBT to launch a comedy block. Or of POI does turn out to be their next franchise drama, then there really is no need for a comedy block unless you plan on replacing NCIS with POI after NCIS ends. But in the end, it’s all in the hands of CBS.

How many shows will ABC cancel?

I think that Body of Proof, Pan Am, The River, Missing and Cougar Town will definitely be canceled, as well as one of Private Practice, GCB and Scandal. Maybe one more – depending on scheduling needs, pilots and performance of bubble shows over the next six weeks.

Yes. Thursdays will then be almost all new (one Big Bang repeat) for the four weeks during sweeps.

Poor ABC, i watch Grey’s Anatomy all the time and i hate that it has declined in the ratings, especially being defeated by a repeat. Something must be changed soon so the show can go up in the final.

  • Ultima

To clarify, they’ll have their normal lineup in repeats (with the sitcom tryout on Friday at 8), they won’t be doing double Big Bang repeats again.

    Kiss missing goodbye!

    So you are thing

    8:00 – TBBT
    8:30 – New Comedy
    9:00 – 2BG
    9:30 – New Comedy
    10:00 – POI
    8:00 – How I meet
    8:30 – New Comedy
    9:00 – Mike & Molly
    9:30 – New Comedy or 2MEN
    10:00 – Hawaii

  • gustavo

A rerun of TBBT did better than an original episode of RoE:That doesn’t look good for a renewal on RoE:3,1 and 2,8 vs 2,7.

  • Beckham

    @ Joseph

Well..not exactly. I would say keep 2BG at Monday to help anchor the 2 hour comedy block because I don’t think HIMYM is strong enough. Keep POI at 9 for one more season and if the ratings get better than they already are, a comedy block won’t be needed. But if the ratings drop, then CBS could replace it with a comedy block.

  • Petar

Hm, while looking for Upfronts days look what i found:

“The crime drama emerging as the frontrunner at the network on the drama side. Also picked up is comedy frontrunner Two Broke Girls!”

crime drama is PoI off course! So, CBS are really good in testing and scouting! Perfect judgement! From the beging they selected frontrunner for drama and frontrunner for sitcom with 100% success! The other CEOs and entertainment boss must learn from CBS! I guess thast why CBS boss is highest paid media CEO!

And if they go with this Thursday lineup – TBBT-2BG-POI the fact that 2BG and PoI are from same year – 2011 will help them in next years because will age together!

  • Dumpster Dave

30 Rock’s syndication numbers is a clear sign that NBC needs to stop making these niche comedies. It’s really caught up to NBC this year too as these ratings have been horrible. Whitney’s been the only comedy to come out of this season looking good.

  • r0ckmypants

ABC should put Private Practice on Thursdays at 8.

  • Petar

Scandal will survive! Its shonda rhimes show! And in hollywood and in US like all respect the names! And i like that! Even if you have similar rating with other shows but your backstage are big names you are safe! Because ABC know that next time shonda will give tham next hit!
