    @Petar

    Sorry names only carry so much weight.

    JJ Abrams lost two shows this year as did Spielberg and I think their names carry more weight the Rhimes.

    What are some of you guys talking about as far as I know Thursdays have always been dead to me even if I enjoyed a particular such as Rookie Blue I would usually forget that it was on bc of the day of the week, Thursday. Scandal is a different case to me a leading black actress with sex appeal instead of languishing in the background, fast drama-filled scenes…hell I even stick around for the damn commercials and I usually don’t ever do that. I’m hooked I just wish it was on Tuesdays but with this drama Thursdays work pretty fine for me cause I aint missing any part of that show as long as its on! I also loved that its based on an actual fixer…saw her on CNN this morning made me even more thrilled!

    @MoHasanie

    Shonda Rhimes has a new pilot for the 2012-13 season.

    Astonishing…RERUNS from CBS drawing more viewers than anything the other networks (with the exception of Idol on FOX) can muster up. TWO of The Big Bang Theory–better yet, ANY TWO shows from CBS’ Thursday lineup–drawing more viewers than NBC’s ENTIRE Thursday lineup COMBINED!!! As a matter of fact, Any 2 CBS shows from ANY weekday are outdrawing ANY NBC weekday lineup, with possibly the exception of Monday because of The Voice.

    NBC’s ENTIRE front office needs to be FIRED, and shipped off to A FOURTH-TIER cable network.

    Off The Map WASN’T Shonda’s show, she was only the executive producer, basically just put her name on it so it would give it familiarity to viewers. She didn’t write Off the Map.

    Grey’s Anatomy, Private Practice, and Scandal are HER shows, she created and wrote all three of them.

    @Dumpster Dave What are you talking about? Did you miss the TVBytheNumbers article a few months ago that said 30 Rock was boosting numbers in most markets and doing very well in the big cities? I thought that would put to rest the “30 Rock isn’t doing well in syndication” nonsense people spew out here but I guess not.

  • ChrisA

    Why can’t MISSING pulled more viewers???
    It’s a great action/entertaining show.
    Should be at least at 1.8-2.0
    More people need to watch “Missing” cause their missing out OR is it that people are not interested that a female is the main character, the same goes to NIKITA.

    1) TBBT rerun at 9 outdoes the TBBT rerun at 8. Does this make the big wigs at CBS certain to move it to 9pm next fall? And with a 9pm start, the 9:30 spot can’t possibly be going to anything but a new show can it?
    2) ROE holds is audience even with it having the much weaker rerun lead in and follow up. A good sign for ROE that it has a built in 2.8? It appears ROE and Rob are neck and neck for a spot this fall (if there is an open spot for either). IMHO, ROE is the far better show….
    3) POI, and correct me if I am wrong, held its rerun audience(demo)even with the later start. An indicator of POI’s move to 10pm next season?
    4) TM did relatively well for its Friday night rerun (for a Friday). With POI pulling better rerun numbers at 10 than TM reruns (correct me if I am wrong on that too), does this make a POI move to ten more likely? And a TM move to Friday more likely? IMHO, TM moved to a slow TV night like Fri or Sat would be unfortunate considering how many poor shows there are on TV.

    Am I reading to much into this or have the CBS big wigs been tipping their hats as to this fall’s schedule by way of these scheduling swaps?

    Scandal is a big disappointment. Like most political dramas, it pretends a political neutrality that it simply does not deliver. It just perpetuates the simplistic view that Conservatives are all “BAD” and that even the worst Liberals are really “GOOD” if you give them a chance. We have to forgive all Liberal hypocrisies but must out all Conservative ones for their own good as well as ours. I will not watch or record the third episode. Fox’s “Lie to Me” was at least a little more believable on those issues.

    “GCB” on the other hand, is just plain fun. The show does a better job at evenly poking fun and both Liberal and Conservative sensibilities as well as characters you really care about, even the ones that put the “B” in “GCB.” That is the new show for ABC to keep. What a treasure.

    If Private Practice doesn’t get renewed by a full and complete final season, I will never watch Scandal or Grey’s Anatomy again. PP was doing great until January, and never hit 2.0 like Scandal, and never gets promotion forma ABC, witch I hate. Even some episodes get better demo than Castle or even Revenge. What they did in order to move Scandal, was really bad, ABC give the worst spot but I have faith after 5 years, the show has fans on their own. We saw a 2.7 demo on the Intervention episodes with 2 double episodes and with put GA lead in.
    So, ABC is really stupid, Scandal will need at least 5 season and with those ratings will hit soon higs 1.0 like BoP or CT.

    Sorry, this phone change a lot of words.

    Everybody tell your friends REVENGE is coming THIS Wednesday.

    It’s essentially a new season and you can jump right in from this episode.

    Revenge is HOT.

  • RJ

    People who say that they caught a few episodes of TBBT and did not find it funny is because it really is one of those shoes where you have to watch the beginning to fully understand the characters and their quirks… i mean i i hadnt watched TBBT before and randomly watched a couple of episode from season 3, 4 etc… i would probably think it was stupid too.

  • RJ

    **Shows NOT shoes

  • G

    SCANDAL IS A WINNER!

  • Wes @ RJ

    I have seen most of the episodes of TBBT (My family finds it funny), and have not laughed once.

  • Californiadgd

    TOUCH!
    TBBT!
    GREY!

  • wn

    I think the last rerun number for The Mentalist was 1.7, so not much difference there re POI.

  • RJ

    @ Wes

    I was just talking about the people who post and say they caught A FEW RANDOM episodes

  • SJ

    @RJ

    TBBT is not a complex show that you need to watch from the beginning to understand. A season 1 episode is hardly different from a season 4 episode because that’s how the “writers” on that show roll.

    Having said that, I somehow suffered through four seasons of that dreadful show and don’t intend to watch a single episode ever again.
