ABC finished #1 on Friday night in Adults 18-49, tying CBS with its 2-hour Lionel Richie music special, while defeating NBC by 25% and Fox by 67%.
During the 8pm hour, ABC’sran in a virtual tie with CBS’ for first place in Adults 18-49 (pacing within 1-tenth of a point and tied in audience share) and outdelivered Fox’s original by 78%. Drawing a younger audience, ABC’s defeated CBS’ by 33% in Adults 18-34.

Opposite all first-run competition in the 9 o’clock hour, ABC’s Primetime: led the pack in Adults 18-34 for the 3rd week running, beating NBC’s by 11%, Fox’s by 67% and CBS’ Lionel Richie music special by 100%.?
During the 10 o’clock hour, ABC’s moved up to #1 in Adults 18-49, topping the final hour of CBS’ ACM music special by 7%. In addition, ABC’s continued to beat out NBC’s in the hour, leading by 8% in Total Viewers, by 31% in Adults 25-54 and by 45% in Adults 18-49.
