Definitions:
DVR (Time-shifted) Adults 18-49 Ratings – Program ratings for national sources are produced in three streams of data Live, Live+Same Day (Live+SD) and Live+7 Day. Time shifted figures account for incremental viewing that takes place with DVRs.
Live+Same Day(Live+SD) ratings include viewing during the same broadcast day as the original telecast, with a cut-off of 3:00AM local time when meters transmit daily viewing to Nielsen for processing.
Live+7 Day ratings include incremental viewing that takes place during the 7 days following a telecast.
DVR Ratings Increase Past Airdate - How many people watched the show on their DVRs within 7 days following the airdate
Until the 2009-2010 season, we used a show's LIVE program rating or viewership as the base upon which the LIVE+7 day DVR viewing was added. Now, the press seems to be standardizing around using LIVE+SAME DAY DVR viewing as the base for the calculations, so that's what we do now as well.

TSC has nothing to worry about. Overall, the season’s ratings have been more then okay and The CW will most likely renew it.
Like someone above said, they’re not going to cancel all 3 of their new shows, with Ringer gone and HoD most likely gone, I think TSC will be renewed.
Having said that, I 100% think Nikita is going to be cancelled, and they’re going to shove TSC in that Friday spot and it’s ratings are going to fall even more.
I really would hope the CW uses their brains and knows if they want TSC to at least do well for its 2nd season, they move it to Wednesday instead. Don’t make the same mistake as they did with Nikita, because now Nikita (sadface) is paying for it.
I hope they do move TSC to Friday. It had its chance for success this Season and its failing miserably. No reason CW should feel sorry for it at this point and unless they don’t cancel NIKITA, what are they gonna put there?
Being a NIKITA fan I agree with Donna T’s opinion on giving NIKITA a shortened 3rd Season even though its unlikely.
Why are people worried about TSC…it should be back for at least 13 episodes…unless CW really cleans house..they have lots of slots to full
This SPN repeat matched the last original Ringer. Slightly unfair to compare the last ep of Nikita though. Yes demo was same, but Nikita’s total audience was much higher (>1.3m I think). I know that the demo is more important but when demos are same, then total audience needs to be taken into account.
I just need to point out ringer ended up beating Nikita and is .1 away from TSC. So to separate ringer from the pack is obviously dumb considering all CW shows go back and forth with ratings
Nice to see Rules of Engagement on the list.
CBS just renew Rules of Engagement already! It’s still a solid player after all these years
The Mentalist!
I think Person of Interest should move to Tuesday nights. It has high
ratings so it would go in really nice on that night.
If you guys havent already noticed, ALL shows are down… and jsyk TSC has been the only stable new show out of all of them – Ringer was a demolition derby in the ratings and demo starting the 3rd week, HOD is straight up boring and useless, I don’t think CW wants a ‘stuck in a rut’ show regardless what the ratings are, which still arent good, at all. Nikita is going in circles, there is nothing left- this show has had the same plot since the pilot “project stop division” obsession- and frankly, ive tuned in like a moron and its going nowhere. TSC has the biggest room to grow and create household names out of its mostly newcomers (talented for sure) just like TVD did, and TVD has a rocky start too. A show needs room to grow and build a loyal audience, that will tune in every week, or at least DVR watch it online, whatever. TSC not only has stability but a HUGE international following like TVD. Thats what makes TSC the only keeper. Its a genre show with huge potential, and its starting to really get GOOD. Interesting. Find its path. To pull the plug now would mean CW is officially itself going down the drain. As for a season 3 – you remember that quote from 8 simple rules right? when you ASSuME …. yeah… just let it play out. If you like it, watch and if you don’t its really not anyone else’s problem cuz clearly its the genre that bothers you and not CW’s losses. Admit it. You know I’m right.
