As CBS' late season drama replacements typically do, NYC 22 arrived with a resounding ratings flop on Sunday night. It is certain to be canceled.

But that won't help A Gifted Man or Unforgettable, they're still certain to be canceled. CBS will want three hours free for new dramas next fall, and there's no room on their schedule for those ratings losers.

CBS will also cancel at least one of the CSI offspring (NY or Miami). More sitcom time could save Rules of Engagement and/or Rob, but without it, they're both likely gone too.

The Renew / Cancel Index above includes results beginning January 2, 2012. How did CBS' shows stack up based on their Fall results? Click here.

The Renew/Cancel Index is the ratio of a scripted show's new episode adults 18-49 ratings relative to the new episode ratings of the other scripted shows on its own network. It's calculated by dividing a show's new episode Live+Same Day adults 18-49 average rating by the Live+Same Day new episode average of all the new scripted show episodes on the show's own network. The network's average ratings in the calculation are not time weighted (ex. hour long shows are not weighted twice what 30 minute shows are).

(F) -Fridays: Shows airing on Fridays were renewed with significantly lower than average Indexes.

Opps some typos here i jus wish viewrs had given this show a chance!!!!

They need to cancel CSI Miami and leave The Gifted Man & Unforgettable on. They are nice clean shows I guess thats why they may not make it. But they are our favorite!!!!!!!

  • CSIMiamiFan

How Dare Them, putting CSIMiami on the Determination List,Easy Terminate NYC 22 And Bring CSI Miami BACK!!!!! And Leave the Unforgettable Alone Damm it!!!! Renew Renew Renew dang it

  • doc142

As a former medic in NYC I found NYC22 to be a fairly good representation of what I’ve seen of police in new york. Ireally like the show and so do my friends. I hope they find a way to keep the show on the air

  • len

Why let go of gifted man?,,,it was getting good!!!! give it a chance cbs for another season

  • Lily

I love NYC22! It’s a great show but they need to lose that non-sense played at the beginning. Don’t cancel this show!

  • ken

personally comedy is one thing i don’t watch on tv.

i would rather have a gifted man back or Unforgettable getting a second chance. If they do tank Unforgettable i hope it at least ends with one a good note.

Lord knows we dont need another csi show. They are overflowing as it is.

  • Rebecca O’Connell

A Gifted Man was a great show. It was one of the few that was good enough to watch on CBS.

  • Rebecca O’Connell

Fridays are no fun without A Gifted Man.

  • A Gifted Man Fan!

I think they could cancel all of the CSI’s and keep “A Gifted Man”! It was a new all different show. NYC 22 is a bad version of Rookie Blue and it should be cancelled! I couldn’t watch the first show of Rob so I am glad that will be cancelled.

  • Cindy Lavallee

I love Gifted Man. It was a decent show. A lot of that crap you have on there is “crap.” And I love all the CSIs. Why cancel the good shows. Get rid of some of those reality shows. Those are stupid. Don’t the people have a say. If I am gonna pay for my cable, I want good shows on there to watch.

  • Cindy Lavallee

CBS stinks. If you cancel the good shows and keep all that sitcom crap, whats the sense. I love Gifted man and all the CSIs. You guys stink if you take those shows off.

  • joann

I dont think u gave nyc22 a chance. You put it in a time slot it couldnt win. you never gave it a decent chance.I thoroughly enjoyed watching the show. However it never fails the shows I like are always cancelled.

  • eric pethers

if you are going to use cancellation why not use Cancelled double L too difficult to type 2 L’s

  • Keri

I think Unforgettable should stay. That is a much better show than “2 Broke Girls”

  • Tracy

I don’t think unforgettable should be cancelled There are many of us upset over this cancelled decision…
