NOTE: All national ratings are "live plus same day" from Nielsen Media Research unless otherwise indicated.

You can see TV ratings from other recent Overnight ratings reports here.

Fast Affiliate Ratings: These first national ratings, including demographics, are available at approximately 11 AM (ET) the day after telecast, and are released to subscribing customers daily. These data, from the National People Meter sample, are strictly time-period information, based on the normal broadcast network feed, and include all programming on the affiliated stations, sometimes including network programming, sometimes not. The figures may include stations that did not air the entire network feed, as well as local news breaks or cutaways for local coverage or other programming. Fast Affiliate ratings are not as useful for live programs and are likely to differ significantly from the final results, because the data reflect normal broadcast feed patterns. For example, with a World Series game, Fast Affiliate Ratings would include whatever aired from 8-11PM on affiliates in the Pacific Time Zone, following the live football game, but not game coverage that begins at 5PM PT. The same would be true of Presidential debates as well as live award shows and breaking news reports.
Rating: Estimated percentage of the universe of TV households (or other specified group) tuned to a program in the average minute. Ratings are expressed as a percent.

Share (of Audience): The percent of households (or persons) using television who are tuned to a specific program, station or network in a specific area at a specific time. (See also, Rating, which represents tuning or viewing as a percent of the entire population being measured.)

Time Shifted Viewing – Program ratings for national sources are produced in three streams of data – Live, Live+Same Day (Live+SD) and Live+7 Day. Time shifted figures account for incremental viewing that takes place with DVRs. Live+Same Day (Live+SD) include viewing during the same broadcast day as the original telecast, with a cut-off of 3:00AM local time when meters transmit daily viewing to Nielsen for processing. Live+7 Day ratings include incremental viewing that takes place during the 7 days following a telecast.

From what I’ve seen of Smash, it seemed like great stuff. The musical numbers, particularly, were fabulous. But I’m not getting hooked. It will only get canceled. TV with any real quality to it only rarely survives. They don’t make TV for me, obviously.

  • Andrew

YAY! okay Hart of Dixie! we got this! so excited! hoping even for an adjustment up in the finals!

  • Brandy

Yeeess GG &Hart of Dixie got 0.6s! Please stay there for four episodes. Not happy that 2 Broke Girls is down a lot, it was the biggest comedy hit this season but last night it got beat by m&m,2.5 men.I hope it goes back up next week, thankfully it’s already been renewed. Now if Cw would only renew GG, HoD, VD, SC my life would be complete. Please CW renew GG, HoD, .

And how exactly “H50 repeats are weak”? Only better drama repeats from all networks are NCIS-1.9 and POI-1.8! Evem NCIS LA repeats are 1.5! Grey’s repeats are 1.2 and Once repeats are around 1s! So H50 is really good drama! For me their third best drama after NCIS and POI! And ratings support me!

    Way to go, Castle!

  • nerv

I was only talking about the Monday sitcoms, I did not include the Thursday ones…

  • psychic

Castle was all right. A better episode compared to all the Caskett-stressing ones we’ve seen this season.
    House was… House.

  • amytta

Hart of dixie down in the finals
    GG under a million again

  • Sarah

With Bones dropping, do you think Fox will do the unthinkable next season and move it to Fridays?

  • psychic

Wow. I didn’t even look at Gossip Girl. Under a million?
    … Wow…. fail :P

  • 1mars

Yeah, way to go Castle, 11M views and only a 2.2 demo, every old lady in America must be watching….not that there is anything wrong with that, just funny, plus less competition at 10 pm, only 2 nets are airing shows.

  • SueK

It doesn’t help that the “Community” sites (fan sites) for the FOX shows have been down for 6 months. Not that that is an excuse but the buzz from those forums could cause a .1 uptick. Really sorry to see Bones down to less than 7 million viewers.

  • Justin121

Well, what do you know — in a night of lows, 2.5 Men and CW rise.

House was adjusted down last week so it could be adjusted down again this week to a 1.9 :D

Castle is doing well given DWTS is having its lowest rated season ever.

DWTS should be third not second in the table.

HIMYM at 7 mil not hot yet 6 mil would watch Hawaii 5-0 repeat.

  • psychic

Before Fringe? That would boost the ratings (Possibly…)

  • Kyle

@Bill There was any preemption for the CW shows last night?

“With Bones dropping, do you think Fox will do the unthinkable next season and move it to Fridays?”

I have no systematic way of predicting schedule changes, so I don’t bother.

  • Anon

Did anyone catch the Ringer promos last night? “Season Finale” (as opposed to “Series Finale”). Just sayin’.

  • Sophia

Wow. I didn’t even look at Gossip Girl. Under a million?
    … Wow…. fail

You might want to look again, 1.11 million doesn’t qualify as under a million.

  • SmG

    GG W18-34: 1.1

    HoD W18-34: 1.1

I think these were 0.9 last week.

  • MoHasanie

Why would they move it to Fridays?!? With House ending, and Touch getting low ratings, and both Alcatraz and Tera Nova cancelled, Bones will have to stay on Mondays. There’s no replacement for it, if they decide to move it.
