   President Bush was very-very well-vetted

   I don’t remember FN calling him a terrorist just because if you turn his logo upside it looks like a logo from the MB. I never heard Bush being implied and a few times out right called a muslim by FN….. MSNBC probably did it, but their slogan isn’t fair and balanced, and no one in here (except maye Jeff) actually thinks MSNBC is reliable on anything other than lieing….

   Are you serious? They hold up and kill bills because if you want to pass anything remotely divisive or political, you now need 60 votes to break a Republican filibuster. The Buffet Rule had 51 votes IN FAVOR and 45 votes AGAINST. So did the Jobs Bill, and a bunch of other failed legislation; Senate Republicans are being accused of holding up and killing bills because they’re holding up and killing bills. This isn’t the Democrats voting against legislation, it’s the Democrats not having the 60 senator super majority they need to invoke cloture, and actually pass Democratic legislation.

   Show me one example where I have called someone an idiot or a retard. I have alluded to your lack of brain power but don’t think I have called you or anyone else an idiot and I know I have never called anyone a retard. But hey don’t let the facts get in the way of your rants.

   I have called Nancy a hypocrite but only because she is one!!

   Tired of hearing the Fair and Balanced Foxes crying that the main stream media is in the tank for President Obama. Like the Fox No-News media outlet is not in the tank for Romney and the Republican Party. That moron Eric Bolling of The Five (GOP Romper Room)said today that President Obama was left of Chavez, I know why Fox hires all these castaways from the main stream media. Murdoch No-News Corp. is Anti-American and they know if they hire these castaways, it’s their last stop, so they have no choice but to spread Murdoch’s crazy right wing agenda. I will continue to monitor the train until it wrecks.

I agree I sometimes do go off topic on stupid tangents like the zimmerman case and others but it’s rare but people in here are in here alll day everyday…do you EVER get tired about talking about the dumbest crap EVER? People in here pick up on the dumbest things EVER “OMG OBAMA ATE A DOG WHEN HE WAS A KID IN A COUNTRY WHERE IT’S A CUISINE” ahhhhhhhhhh!!!! Watch out guys, Obama is a Muslim because….well, the only thing I got going for me with that, is because he’s brown. Let’s not forget the “FN rules, MSNBC drools” You do realize I used to say that when I was 8……..lol. Attack Obama, the Democrats and Republicans on things that need to be brought up like the healthcare bill or something. People in here bring up that Rosen woman EVERY day in here without EVER EVER reading what she actually said and just listening to FN and letting them take it out of context for them so they can get angry over nothing……

   Mathew, there is no reason the Dems can’t at least bring a budget to vote. This is something they are required by law to do and they haven’t done it for three years. Their reasons for not putting forth a budget is because they don’t want to stand beside a budget that increases the debt. The Dems are just as guilty of holding up bills as the repubs.

   The TV quiz show that must always be identified in the form of a question: what is “Jeopardy!?” (and yes, just like Yahoo!, an exclamation mark MUST always follow the noun) has announced the roster of “Power Players” who will appear on the show next month.

   What! No Bob Beckel? I would love to hear him give the answer only to have Alex Trebeck say “Oh! Sorry Bob but you didn’t answer in the form of a question” and to hear Beckel reply “WTF” lol

   suiko, I didn’t think you could give me examples. Also I knew you wouldn’t comment on your nonsensical sentence.

   A while back I posted you needed to get off the muffin issue and talk about our 15 trillion dollar debt. You spent innumerable posts telling me how important the muffins were. I don’t think the dog eating, or the dog on the roof or your muffins are important. You are just the last person to tell others to talk about important things. You are making my argument about the muffins– you have flip flopped.

    I never denied that the Democrats are stalling the legislative process also, they’re just doing it in a different way. It’s completely fair to say that Senate Republicans are killing legislation, because they’ve created an environment where a simple majority is no longer enough to get anything done; The other side of it is Harry Reid refusing to introduce anything that’s Republican leaning. We have a legislative branch that is completely useless, and will remain useless without super majorities on one side or the other. It’s a side effect of politicians now living under the 24/7 microscope, and needing to weigh how every word uttered, every vote, and every debate will be portrayed in the Bullsh*tosphere of MSNBC/Fox/CNN/Talk Radio/Blogs etc. Being a politician is now more of an acting/campaigning gig than a governing job.

    Billy O did it again he blew Bob Beckel in for an open mike incident on Hannity, like it was a joke, he knew he could have gotten Beckel fired. Tonight he questions the LA Times for printing the pictures with the American Soldiers with the body of suicide bomber then shows the picture twice. Then he goes on describing other incidents with our Soldiers. Billy O is a phony no good BS artist,he will end up with his buddy GB on the internet.

    Senate Democrats can pass the “Buffet Rule” by…..Reconciliation, remember?

    Don’t count on it though as everybody knows it’s a gimmick.

    An operating Senate shouldn’t have to pass everything through Reconciliation, and the Buffett Rule is just a simple example of an endemic problem. Look at a chart for cloture voting by year and then try to make the case that the filibuster hasn’t been a big part of the legislature the last ~5 years. The only sh*t getting passed is earmark garbage and stuff that’s such a no-brainer that it has near universal support. This is no way for an entire branch of the government to function. And all of the proposed budgets except for Simpson-Bowles are gimmicks. You can’t solve long-term debt without Social Security and Medicare reform, and you can’t solve short-term debt without tax increases and decreasing the size of our foreign empire and D.O.D. funding. In other words, you can’t solve any debt whatsoever without doing the things that neither party will ever, ever, ever, ever, ever vote for.
