NCIS great!!
Go Ringer! Can’t wait for season 2.
Fashion Star really slows down the impressive Tuesday night for NBC. Hopefully this fall they run with Roseanne and SVU or another new drama like County.
man, i hope revenge does well tonight. i’d be so glad if it got 2.6 or above, showing people caught up over the break. but i’m expecting 2.3-2.5. a 2.1-2.2 wouldn’t be shocking considering the recent ratings carnage, just disappointing. under 2.1 and i might punch my computer in anger.
fingers crossed PP goes up next week. promote ABC promote!
NCIS was great last night. I know they are down in the 18-49 slot but more people are outside in the spring and thanks also to daylight savings time. But to still pull 18+ million viewers, awesome!!
Glad to see that Ringer was adjusted up in terms of viewers (from 1.156 million to 1.200). I was really hoping it would hit a 0.6, but sadly it didn’t. I think it may have if 90210 was new though. I think the main reason The CW aired and finished Ringer was so they could air The LA Complex after 90210 since they may attract a more similar audience than 90210 and Ringer did. I have a feeling that The LA Complex is going to bomb though.
Ringer (S1) Average:
1.49 million viewers, 0.61 A18-49, 0.86 W18-34.
Jamie Lee Curtis is NOT a good fit for NCIS. NCIS rating will go back up if she is gone.
@Ice Mountain
I read on Variety that Raising Hope is a favorite from the network and they don’t want to give the show up.
google “Soph laffers keep ‘Hope’ alive” and you’ll see what I’m talking about..
Raising Hope (S2) Average:
4.87 million viewers, 2.21 A18-49
DAMN IT, DANCING! STOP STEALING TENTHS FROM RAISING HOPE! IT NEEDS THEM MORE THAN YOU DO!
OMG GLEE!!!! Hopefully their ratings rise. The episode was promoted a lot. Fox does not need Glee to crash and burn. Its 1 season away from syndication. Lets stretch until there. New Girl is recovering well.
TV in general has taken a huge hit… I’ve been noticing.
@ Bunny
I knew it was some type of political decision like that for the reason why it can get a pass with those ratings when most shows on that network wouldn’t see the light of day with those numbers.
@Mon: I would root for it to crack a 4.0!
I think the big mistake The CW made with Ringer was when they never put Nikita and Ringer together in the same lineup. Ringer is not a good fit with 90210.
@Bee
I agree.I am bit worried for Revenge.It was gone for too long.I hope it pulls of at least 2.4 or 2.5!
TBL must be NBC’s second most profitable show. (Or possibly NBC’s second profitable show out of two, come to think of it.) While it obviously doesn’t have the syndication revenue that a scripted show can potentially gain, the format lends itself brilliantly to tie-in merchandise (which has indeed been exploited, and I’m sure NBC get *something* out of that) and, of course, it’s a heck of a lot cheaper than scripted shows.
Which would, with only one exception, kill for a 2.3 right now.
I agree with disney rocks – TBL could go on for years. I predict right now that it outlasts both American Idol and NBC’s entire current scripted lineup.
@Joel I agree, they both are the only adult shows of the network, and they are also old-skewing (which can be seen in their W18-34 ratings). Nikita is steady at Friday, and remember when the network aired a repeat of Ringer’s pilot in Friday? It got 1.9 million viewers and a 0.6 A18-49 rating.
Interesting ratings on the British channel e4
recent:
The Big Bang Theory- 1.11m (4.8%)big numbers!!
Happy Endings – 261k (1.1%)
@ Joel
I agree with you also as I always think that Ringer and Nikita didn’t fit with the rest of the lineup except Supernatural because they were adult shows so at least if they were together they would fit in well.
Ringer scored pretty well on that Friday and that’s when I first thought of that Nikita and Ringer combination. Nikita has been steady all year for a Sophomore show getting no help in front of it on a lower-hut level night.
Maybe there’s still a possibility if they keep both shows they will try this out. I think if they don’t keep Secret Circle that Supernatural can move back to Thursdays with Vampire Diaries or Supernatural with Arrow.
