To put fairness and the buffet rule in perspective….double taxing capital gains on millionaires would bring in 47 billion over ten
Years,these same people give 300 billion to charities of the poor and needy every year….if they want to recoup the tax by Obama I will give you one guess on who will suffer so Obama can have fairness fit his description…
this is just another report he will not pay any attention to.
CBO estimates Obama 2013 budget will hit economic growth
The nonpartisan Congressional Budget Office said Friday that President Obama’s 2013 budget will hurt the economy in the long term, arguing the larger deficits it would produce would reduce the amount of capital available to businesses.
After five years, the CBO says, the Obama proposals would reduce economic output by between 0.5 percent and 2.2 percent.
Larger deficits caused by the budget would cause the government to issue more bonds, sucking up private capital to finance its debts and thereby reducing the funds businesses could use to expand and hire, the CBO said. An increased tax on capital gains included in the president’s plan would also tend to reduce private capital, it says.
@Ratboy
Chris Matthews has a case of thrillus interruptus. He needs another 4 years of President Obama for the thrill to go all the way.
More perspective…a family making 250m in ny has a total tax bill after city,state and federal of 50 per cent, that nets to 125m,less 3m a month ,median cost in ny,leaves=77m…less
Food for a family of 4,let’s say 100 a week,leaves 70m, less a car payment
T of 300 a month,normal family car,…leaves 64m, less insurance in ny leaves,58m, less health insurance in ny for a family is 1200 a month, leaves 44 m, less a kid in college in a city or state school is 20m, leaves 24m, less clothes for the family,5m,leaves 19m, less church donations 1200′using Biden
S formula,leaves 17.8m,less life insurance so a parent doesn’t leave his family destitute,let’s say 5m,leaves 12.8m, 401k contribution or Ira,2m, leaves 10.8 , less a wife maintaining herself with beauty salon and men taking haircut and the kids about 160 a month, leaves 8.8 and this is without any extracurricular lifestyle pleasures with the family……is this a millionaire and billionaire????? If the couple divorced Its over….but divorced each could make 200×2=400m…..so under Obama the wh
Ole country should get divorced!!!!! I’m crazed today….
It sounds pretty bad for President Obama when Chris Matthews thinks that the reason people would keep him in office is the color of his skin.

You are on fire today!!!!
Re-Hi
@AppleStinx

It’s worse than that Apple. Even Larry Sabato’s institute who is IMO the best in the business is now saying the house race will not only remain GOP but they will gain seats. They also are showing signs the GOP may in fact get a majority in the Senate as well. But those are a lot closer so it could change, but either way, the Senate will be one with no clear majority.
NBC/Wall Street Journal (who is a fairly good Polling) has Obama up only 6 points, but what concerns the spin guys is that’s the exact number Obama had in Feb and way before Romney was the Nominee (Which he is now)
We all may see an earlier full campaign mode than ever before.
@Ratboy
You remember when the DNC hired Debbie that I said; they only did that because they can have a scapegoat?
I’m standing by that analogy. Alot of the finacial sites have started just today releasing charts showing the economy will not recover above 4-7% by the middle of 2014. And Un-Employment could remain above 6.5% until sometime in 2014.
Must be a lot more dangerous out there since Obama got into office!…………………………or easier!
5.4 Million Join Disability Rolls Under Obama
A record 5.4 million workers and their dependents have signed up to collect federal disability checks since President Obama took office, according to the latest official government data, as discouraged workers increasingly give up looking for jobs and take advantage of the federal program.
This is straining already-stretched government finances while posing a long-term economic threat by creating an ever-growing pool of permanently dependent working-age Americans.
Since the recession ended in June 2009, the number of people who’ve signed up for disability benefits is twice the job growth figure. (See nearby chart.) In just the first four months of this year, 539,000 joined the disability rolls and more than 725,000 put in applications.

*Joe Biden: Obama’s Controversial Reforms ‘Like Legalizing Rattlesnakes In The Lobbies Of Hotels In Arizona’
Biden was trying to praise Obama for courageous decisions. “Obama knew that some actions were going to be unpopular, such as the financial sector bailout,” the pool reporter characterized Biden as saying last night. “‘That would be like legalizing rattlesnakes in the lobbies of hotels in Arizona,’ Biden quipped,” according to the pooler.

Democratic Senator Joe Manchin Says He May Not Vote For Obama
Sen. Joe Manchin (D-WV), who won a special election in 2010 to serve the remainder of the late Sen. Robert Byrd’s term and is up for reelection this year, says that he is considering voting for the presumptive Republican nominee in November and not President Obama.
National Journal reported on Thursday that Manchin, a centrist Democrat “who has done more than any other Democrat up for reelection this year to distance himself from President Obama” is weighing his options.
“The people in West Virginia, they basically look at the candidates—whatever you’re running for, whether it be the president itself, or whatever—[they look at] the performance and the result that’s been attained,” Manchin said when asked how he will vote. “Right now in West Virginia, these first three and a half years haven’t been that good to We
