CBS SUNDAY MORNING WITH CHARLES OSGOOD was the #1 Sunday morning news program in households, viewers and adults 25-54 according to Nielsen live plus same day ratings for April 15. CBS SUNDAY MORNING posted a 3.5/10 with 4.91m viewers, 1.3/07 in adults 25-54. Season-to-date, CBS SUNDAY MORNING is up +3% in households (3.7/10 from 3.6/10) and even in both viewers (5.29m) and adults 25-54 (1.4/07) compared to last year. is even compared to last year.
The broadcast featured CBS News Business and Economics Correspondent Rebecca Jarvis’ report on tax evasion, Rita Braver’s chat with Blair Underwood as he prepares for his Broadway debut, and Martha Teichner’s look at the enduring appeal of The Three Stooges. The broadcast also marked some notable anniversaries: Michelle Miller reported on the centennial of the Titanic disaster; Mo Rocca visited Fenway Park on the eve of its 100th anniversary; and Contributing Correspondent Serena Altschul reported on Botox, which was approved for cosmetic use 10 years ago.

Good to hear. More news shows should follow this format rather then go for the shock value and inaccuracies.
