Excellent movie. Great direction and production. There were times I forgot to breathe!

  • Darryl Gaines

No surprise Mr Guglielmo is a brilliant filmmaker

  • Susie

So why doesn’t it show up on the list of Top Cable programmings for Tuesday night?

  • Debbie

What a story – so well presented! Award material! and seriously …. where is Tania Head????

  • Fleur

I totally missed that whole thing when it first happened. This docu/film was excellent. Watched it the first airing with no idea what her ‘story’ was then watched it when it repeated and saw it in a completely different light. What a story. Good for ID.

  • James

It was an great insight to that story. I D is stepping their game up.

  • Donna

I missed it & really wanted to see it. This article says it will be on again April 20 @ 8 but according to the guide it is something else

  • Sandy

Check you directory. It is repeated on 4/21 in the wee morning hours.

  • Karen

A very interesting study in psychology! I watched it twice on Tuesday and I’m still trying to figure out what went on in this woman’s mind! Gripping, emotional, mysterious!

  • cass

I stunned watching this movie! I still cannot grasp how they could not charge her with anything. I have been reading all of the stories on her.
I wish some one would do an update on her today. where is she now and how
does she continue living without people finding out who she is. Does she have a new name now, Please someone find out for us so she does not hurt anyone else. The more she is exposed the more we are safe. I really wanted more at the end. Find out if she has had any breakdowns or any help maybe she has changed for the good,or is she blocking the reality of what she has done. Find a person who knows her now and interview them. I want to know
    her life today!!!

I’m watching it right now 708:30 Central Time and it comes on again at 10:00-11:30 PM and again at 5-6:30 AM Saturday. That big slob just disappeared after deceiving all those good hearted people. Crummy illegal getting attention and money. I could smash her ugly face.

Ever notice the when any of the ID channels televises a ‘major event’ or even a premier program, that commercials get more numerous and closer together as the conclusion approaches? So annoying, I often see what is coming and just turn it off rather than sit there a hostage to the TV.

  • susieq

StillC… I agree. WAY too many commercials.
I can’t believe how forgiving ( dumb ) all the people are who she duped. No wonder this country is in the shape it’s in. Of course, these are New Yorkers.

  • Lisa

I was looking forward to this production, and might have enjoyed it had it not been for the ridiculous amount of commercials. They were distracting and annoying enough for me to switch the channel after the first half of the show.

  • Kim

New Yorkers are known all over the country for being savvy, ballsy and street-wise. This woman duped them all into believing her ruse-which is so sad. She screwed so many gullible people and took them for a bundle of money. So…where is she? She’s definitely hiding out somewhere underground, maybe she actually believed her own lies after telling them for so long.

  • Kim

What sucks is you actually have people who were there at 9-11 such as the first responders and people who worked in the recovery efforts. These people have to fight to get any help that’s entitled to them under the Zadroga Act. These people are suffering from respiratory illnesses, cancers related to being exposed to the toxins at Ground Zero and PTSD. WTF???

This person pulled a scam that shouldn’t be ignored by the authorities. They should corral her ass and prosecute her, then force her to make restitution.

  • gal511

This woman is pitiful….how can someone do such a thing?! Yes, we put people in prison for less–this is one of the worst scams done when we needed a voice for 9/11……She needs to pay for the hurt she has caused…

  • Bella

What an act. She a pathological liar.

  • Gloria

Someone in a town in nys is being charged for lying about having cancer and soliciting donations for her wedding and honeymoon!! Lied to her family husband lots of local businesses! So why someone who betrays and scams at that multitude as this crazy woman on 9/11 go unPunished??!!!!!hopefully she has left this country and has the good sense to NEVER come back!

  • Jean

While I agree she is a pathological liar all she sought was attention and did a lot of good in the process. She got no monetary reward, the only deception was that of where she was that day and that her fiance died. Why would she go to jail? This was all verbal with no other harms. I am sure the people she deceived are upset with her, but her punishment at this point is that she has been outed and probably has no one right now. Taking money from people is fraud and a crime and therefore is punishable. I guess we will see what the future holds for her.
