    @Mike J,
    As much as I love HE..Suburgatory is doing way better..

    *prayer circle* for HE.

  • disney rocks

    Suburgatory skewed younger than usual. Not a bad thing, though. First time under 6 million.

    Has anyone seen it? Is it good? I’ve never watched it, so I’m curious.

  • One

    Brock Center with Rian Williams.

  • The Mike Factor

    @disney rocks

    It’s pretty good. The main character is a mixture of vulnerable and dryly sarcastic that doesn’t come off as too heavy either way.

  • Rodrigo

    I guess they are going to change the name from Best Friends Forever to Best Friends Only this Season.

  • Overdamoon

    @Beckham – I like Revenge and PoI, both are interesting, edgy but dry different shows. I’ve watched OUAT a few times but it doesn’t pull me in.

    ABC needs to give Revenge a new lead-in.

  • Ralph Hahn

    Once again, Bill O beats “Rock Center.”

    Imagine the possibilities if NBC picked up O’Reilly as a M-F strip show? (Better hurry up because O’Reilly and Hannity sign new multi-million, multi-year contracts to stay with Fox News this Monday).

    I know the Leno five-night-a-week experiment failed to work. I think that NBC would have stayed with Leno a little longer, but the NBC affiliates wanted Leno’s head on a block for being a bad lead-in to the “late local news.”

    While I found last night’s episode of SVU the weakest of this season, I find the show in Season 13 to be much better than it was in Seasons 9-12. The writing is so much stronger and there is actually some continuity. Certainly Meloni’s departure has had some impact on the ratings, but I think the bigger impact has been because NBC can’t provide even a semi-adequate lead in for the show, not to mention that it disappeared as far as new episodes from the schedule for all of March. But then again even Saturday repeats of SVU outdraw original runs of a lot of NBC programs.

    @Ralph Hahn

    There’s no way NBC would even consider signing Bill O’Reilly or Sean Hannity to do any shows on the network. They already tried doing a strip with Jay Leno in primetime, and it basically sank the network to the abyss it’s in now. They would more likely sign Keith Olbermann to do a weekly primetime show than BillO or Hannity, and that is definitely not going to happen.

    Fantastic SVU episode last night and an 1.6 is just sad. Meloni fans still boycotting the show?

    Some Meloni fans have returned to the series, some. Some of them never left. SVU is doing better in the 18-49 demo better than most shows, total viewers don’t count.

    I think SVU might move back to Tuesdays with The Biggest Loser and either Grimm or Smash will take it’s Wed. @ 10 slot. I don’t see Rock Center with Brian Williams on next season, not in a full capacity anyway. It might move to Friday and be joined with Dateline.

    I think for next season’s American Idol, if they want to get only the 18-49 demographics, fire all three judges, start the whole process over again, and hire Jimmy to be one of the permanent judges along with another female and Dr. Luke, a music producer who works with current big name artists like Katy Perry and Kelly Clarkson. Next, get an in-house mentor who will train them every step of the way and has a real clue about music.

  • Rebecca

    Well, those three shows you named are very different from each other. It isn’t a question of which one is better than the others. I’ve seen the first three episodes of Revenge, ALL of OUAT thus far, and just the pilot of POI. I’m not much of a drama/crime/procedural fan (I watch some dramas but not many, and only if there are comic elements to them), so out of the three I prefer OUAT (and love it…my fave new show of the season. It’s fantasy drama but definitely has some humor in it).

    @Bill Gorman

    I don’t understand why TV Line is bucking for SVU’s cancellation. SVU is doing better DEMO wise than most other NBC shows that are supposedly “hits”. I laughed my ass off at NBC’s attempts to pull in 18-49 fans for Harry’s Law, a breif strip club scene and “10 million viewers”.

    NBC is in so much denial over the failure that is Harry’s Law. That show was DOA when it repremiered this season. I thought NBC would have given it the rip before they canceled Prime Suspect. And as for Awake, DOA as well.

    Don’t get me wrong, Awake is WAY better than Prime Suspect and it’s sterotypical male cast!

  • Googleyes

    they really need to get rid of rock center and give L&O a decent lead in. Repeats of old L&O, Prime Suspect, Awake any kind of procedural that they have easily available would help better than Rock Center.

    @Micha, TV Line just wants traffic (as we all do).

    We just shy away from posting nonsense to get it.

  • Dahne

    @Beckham – Person of Interest is vastly superior to me. I was gung ho for Once Upon a Time at first but my admiration quickly soured. Emma and Henry got very old very quickly.

  • Jack Russell

    POI, OUAT and Revenge are my favorite three new shows.
    POI gets better each week. OUAT and Revenge are great 3 out of every 4 episodes. It’s like comparing apples with oranges (re: these three shows)… but all 3 shows are worth watching. JMO.

  • Ginger

    The CW network must be thrilled at The Rock Center’s performance on NBC because it sets the bar even lower for them.

  • Teag

    wait, if Suburgatory is getting these kinds of ratings, then isn’t that good for The River, which got similar ratings?

  • aciel

    I was really worried about revenges ratings because a lot of people were giving up on this show. I thought that ratings were going to go down as low as 1.9 but I was surprised that it only dropped a tenth which is really good for a show that from a nearly 2 month break. This show held up pretty well. It only went from a 2.4 to 2.3.
