Spend the mother of all holidays with the Walkers as SOAPnet celebrates Mother's Day with the "Mothers, Brothers & Sisters" marathon on Sunday, May 13, 3pm - 7pm. The four hour marathon features mother-themed episodes of "Brothers & Sisters."

"Brothers & Sisters" follows the lives of The Walker Family who include: Nora Walker, her brother Saul and her grown children Sarah, Kitty, Tommy, Kevin, and Justin. The Walkers are a fiercely loyal, loving and bickering family. Friends as much as siblings, while they may often disagree, they always support each other through joy and heartache. But when the father they love and respect suddenly dies, secrets slowly unravel that serve to test the family and their business, to its limits.

3PM - BRS2008-052 - "It's Not Easy Being Green" - Sarah struggles with being a working single mother, especially when Paige wants to wear a grown up outfit to a party.

4PM - BRS2008-053 - "Owning It" - With motherhood around the corner, Kitty's torn on whether to take a new job. As a result of her anxiety, when the family throws her a baby shower, it erupts in typical Walker drama; Kitty asks Nora to be in the delivery room with her when the baby's born.

5PM - BRS2008-055 - "Troubled Waters Part 1" - Kitty is furious when their birth mother goes into labor and Robert is at a press conference to announce his run for governor instead of the hospital.

6PM - BRS2008 - 056 - "Troubled Waters Part 2" - Still angry with Robert, Kitty's stunned to learn that he suffered a heart attack as their new son was being born; Even though Robert's health has improved, as Kitty brings Evan home from the hospital, she comes to the realization that she'll be raising him alone.

SOAPnet owns the world of character-driven soapy drama. The network features same-day episodes of popular daytime dramas "Days of our Lives," "General Hospital" and "The Young and the Restless" as well as classic episodes of "All My Children" and "One Life to Live." Plus favorite primetime series "Gilmore Girls," "One Tree Hill," "Veronica Mars," "Brothers & Sisters" and "Beverly Hills 90210." Wrapped in a 24-hour environment, SOAPnet is the one destination for stories focused on real emotions and revealing truths about intriguing yet flawed characters.

oh I miss it so much

F me! Don’t they already run this for 2 hours every day NOW! I don’t know what I’ll do if TV scheduling gets any more creative than this.

  • edward

love B&S wish it had gone for a 6th and final season!!

  • The Mike Factor

Most people won’t see it because they have Disney Junior now..

Glad to see SoapNet is still going into May. I still have it. I am not a B&S fan, but I am loving Veronica Mars.

I wish SoapNet would air “classic” soaps other than during the middle of the night. Enough with the 90210. I would prefer the original Melrose Place over 90210.

  • Dave

I don’t see anything “classic” about the night episodes of AMC, OLTL or GH. These episodes date from the mid-2000s. Now if they would air episodes from 1979 that would be different.

  • TJ

I agree with Dave, I like the soaps in the 80’s. OLTL especially. Adventure, cliffhangers and good background music! Even the Young and restless had David Kimble and Lisa, or was that 90’s.

  • MBmomof3

@Dave & TJ, I agree that the episodes of “classics” they are currently airing aren’t classic. I would love it if they would air the ones from the 70’s & 80’s when the soaps were in their heyday. I watched SoapNet’s airing of reruns of Ryan’s Hope & Another World and really enjoyed them. I also watched when they aired the OLTL marathon and enjoyed seeing the episodes from the earlier days. Lots of great classic soaps they could air like Edge of Night, Dark Shadows, and on & on.
