President Barack Obama will make his first appearance on NBC’s “Late Night with Jimmy Fallon” on Tuesday, April 24 (12:35 a.m. ET). The special broadcast will be taped from the campus of The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill on Tuesday to air that same night.

Dave Matthews is set to perform as the April 24th musical guest. Fallon will also bring along his acclaimed house band The Roots.

"Late Night with Jimmy Fallon" is produced by Universal Television and Broadway Video. Lorne Michaels is the executive producer. Michael Shoemaker produces. Gavin Purcell is the supervising producer.

    I don’t care who is President, IMOO I don’t think the President of USA should be on any late night talk show. Sorry but if Kim K., Snookie, and crazy dog tricks are on them, why would the most powerful man in the world go on one. Totally confused on why!
