Fringe drew a 1.0 adults 18-49 rating vs. a series low 0.9 adults 18-49 rating last week. At 8pm, The Finder had a 1.2 adults 18-49 rating, vs. a series low 0.9 adults 18-49 rating last Friday.

The Lucky One and Think Like A Man were the two movie premieres in wide release on Friday, but they'd have been a stretch for the Fan Excuse Bingo Cards had there been declines.

Via @MaskedScheduler:

Well good news gang #FINDER 1.2 rtg in 18-49 and 4,206,000 viewers and #Fringe up to a 1.0 with 3,089,000 observers

The night's full ratings now posted here.

    Fringe is getting a 5th season, did any one see the clue to it in last nights episode ?? (which was amazing btw) :) :)

  • John A

    Nice jump for the finder. 1.0 pretty bad for fringe.

  • Lizzie

    Who miss last night Fringe episode? You have to watch it!!!
    Seriously, I have not been THAT FREAKING amazed for so long.

    Ratings don’t longer matter to Fringe, but it’s nice to see it’s up even a little. GO FRINGE! Last night episode was amazing!

    “Fringe is getting a 5th season, did any one see the clue to it in last nights episode ??”

    Fantasy.

    Fringe may well get a 5th season, but the producers have no idea today whether it will, and they certainly didn’t when yesterday’s episode was written/produced, which was quite some time ago.

    Last night’s episode was so amazing… so, so amazing!
    The 5th season is almost being announced and Fringe will get 13 final episodes.

  • psychic

    Fringe was amazing last night.
    Screw season 5, I want an announcement about season NINE.

  • halloween

    good for Finder, terrible for Fringe…still not enough to renew either

  • Max

    @Bill

    Not such a fantasy. The clue in the episode was a date that corresponds to a friday in September that could potentially serve as a fifth season premiere date. Even if the producers had no knowledge of a renewal, the date was a nice guess and probably done on purpose.

  • John A

    Would producers really not Know today if its coming back or not?

  • K-Fed

    @Dennis

    Maybe I’m stupid, but what was the clue?!? Lol.

  • Dennis

    The reason I say this is because about half way through, Walter had a piece of paper in his hand with a bunch of numbers on it. Those numbers were: 0 9 2 1 1 2. Or to put it this way: 09/21/12. Or even this way: September 21st, 2012. Which is a Friday, btw.

    They did this in Season 2, “Jacksonville”. The combination to the padlock Walter uses to get into the school is 5 20 10, which was the date of the Season Finale of Season 2.

    @K-Fed:
    The paper that Walter had said something about 09-21-12.

    @Bill
    I think they trust FOX and WB made a deal for season 5, which has been spread over tv websites lately. Sure, there’s nothing official yet, but I’m prettu much sure that FOX and WB are just fixing the last details. Will the renewal come along with the may upfronts? Maybe, I hope not, but I’m certainly sure that the decision has been made, it just a matter of settle some numbers on the deal and it’s done ;)

  • carigis

    they had a commercial for a fringe fan event this summer. why bother if they are going to cancel the show? seems to me youd only bother if you were going to keep it. but maybe thats just wishful thinking on my part :)

  • Simon

    Good for Fringe, up is up!

    Hope you’re right. Actually, I hope the numbers they’re settling on are at least 3 more seasons.

  • Simon

    ” I hope the numbers they’re settling on are at least 3 more seasons”

    HIGHLY doubtful, the best we’ll get is a 5th and final Season.

  • were123

    @NJ Viewer
    I would love that too, but that’s not likely the case, for it to happen WB would have to give FOX something like a 10% or less licence fee, but I think WB is only willing to have FOX at a 30% for one last shortened season of 13 episodes. They wanted a full 22, but FOX declined that offer, so now it’s on 13. But that’s good anyway, Fringe would end up with 100 episodes without splitting the pilot! 100 is a good number to close the series.

  • SarahL

    Yeah, I can see Fringe getting 10 more seasons. RME. Get a grip.
