Fringe drew a 1.0 adults 18-49 rating vs. a series low 0.9 adults 18-49 rating last week. At 8pm, The Finder had a 1.2 adults 18-49 rating, vs. a series low 0.9 adults 18-49 rating last Friday.

The Lucky One and Think Like A Man were the two movie premieres in wide release on Friday, but they'd have been a stretch for the Fan Excuse Bingo Cards had there been declines.

Via @MaskedScheduler:

Well good news gang #FINDER 1.2 rtg in 18-49 and 4,206,000 viewers and #Fringe up to a 1.0 with 3,089,000 observers

The night's full ratings now posted here.

    I admire the fringism (fringe-optimism) :)

    Maybe you’re lucky. We’ll see. But if there are hints for a 5th season in the actual episodes, than it’s more like a running gag of the writers. It’s fun to play with it. But of course they can’t know for sure. It means nothing. The only thing that counts is FOX’s final decision.

    @Bill Gorman

    The clue was in the episode to be fair, so it’s not a total fantasy. 09/21/12 may already be the planned date of the premiere ASSUMING there is fifth season. I don’t think it’s crazy to theorize that they already know when the season would begin if HYPOTHETICALLY there is another season.

    But yes, since this episode had to have been filmed around a little over a month ago, there’s no way they knew at that point if there for sure was another season or we definitely would have heard something by now, but yes if someone is saying that clue was the producers’ way of telling us that season five is already guaranteed they are fantasizing. I don’t think that’s specifically what anyone was saying though.

    Oh and Finder is possibly the worst lead in Fringe could ever have. The only reason it even got a 1.1 is because everything else was a rerun. Against any actual competition it tanks immediately. I’d prefer the test pattern as a lead in.

    The September 21, 2012 thing could ALSO apply to the beginning of the end. According to Mayan legend that’s when things will begin, which will culminate December 21, 2012… the end of days.

    Weird, that the series about world dimensions, paranormal, and world destruction is running on the same year that is supposed to be the world’s end…

    That’s why I’ve been saying it’s crucial Fringe gets one more season. If they don’t the world will actually end on 12/21/12 because the Fringe team won’t be around to prevent it.

    Looks like alot of shows are going to be exploring 12/21/12 in the new seasons this fall, but I want Fringe back, as that show will handle it very well. Unless Supernatural can do something nice.

    the finder is dead, but it’s also a very good show…

    I am so hoping for a season 5 I did notice the numbers too and was wondering if it meant something or they are just messing with us. Friday’s episode was the most amazing show I have seen in along time. I am going to have to re-watch the episode just because it was so good.

    I hope they give The Finder a chance. Ratings are creeping up and it’s an entertaining show. Come on FOX, enough with the reality crap!
