Wow, NBC won the night! O.o That doesn’t happen very often…

  • Sophie

    damn Nikita :(

  • John A

Good for SPN growing from that crap lead in.

  • bilborges

The Finder had almost zero original competition so went up a lot but I wanna see it at Fringe’s place..

  • Sid

    Good for SPN!

THE SECRET CIRCLE will do worse next season! :D

  • Rachel

Yes for SPN…. I feel bad for Nikita, I watched that episode it was stellar.

  • Alejandro

Woop go SPN. Second of the week :D

  • Z

Looks like Nkita will be cancelled unfortunately. never gets adjusted up. wish it did. Good for supernatural to keep off of series/season lows.

  • Mickey 1.0

    WOOT!!! Supernatural adjusted up! 8)

And here’s an interesting NYT article on the Decline of the Network Empire. Several interesting theories on the drop in ratings this spring. I like the “built up a library” theory.

I’m now convinced more than ever that Nikita will be cancelled. I just dont think the CW will be able to justify renewing it with ratings so low bearing in mind things are only going to get worse next season.

Ringer and Nikita are the 2 that I would say will definitely go. Not sure about HOD yet.

    @Hades

    You weren’t convinced before?

  • Blanca

This week audiences are very low for some shows.

    Nikita :(((((

    Supernatural is maintained. :D

  • Kavyn

Welp, good bye Nikita. The only reason I’ll care for the CW next year is to see it’s demise. I’m very excited to see TSC hit 0.2s next year :)

  • Leondre

    Wasn’t 20/20 a repeat

Except for Mondays this Spring and most Tuesdays this Spring also.

Interesting. The leaderboard has shuffled around. HoD is in third place this week, TSC is next to last. Dare I hope this might give HoD a shot at renewal?

Also, I’m still really happy SPN adjusted up. :D

  • Hades

    @CrimTV

I was 99.99% sure Nikita was dead. Now I’m 100% sure.

  • AC75

Really did not expect Supernatural to increase. It’s difficult (actually impossible) to predict at the best of times, but with the total viewers being so low in the overnights, I figured there was no chance.

  • Geordiegirl1967

Yay for SPN. Not surprised though. SPN has been steady as a rock at 0.7 to 0.8 all season, and it has regularly been adjusted up. Doubt we’ll see any more 0.8s this season but 0.7 is fine. Second highest rated show last week and surely a dead cert for renewal. Where are those early renewals CW?

Sad for Nikita. It is such a great show that deserves so much better than it is getting on CW. Unlike SPN, which almost certainly wouldn’t have survived this long on a major network, Nikita would have done much better on a bigger platform. It doesn’t quite fit on CW either. It is neither genre nor teen soap which are CWs 2 major specialisms (TVD is both which may be why it is CWs biggest success) and it skews older than most of the other CW shows. it’s characters are grown ups and its stories are for grown ups.
