Thank goodness Supernatural went up. It certainly is a steady performer and not in a steady at .4-5 performer.
Oh, Nikita, I love you show. You have kickass women and complex, developed characters and women are the main actors driving the plot. I love so much about you and no one has found you. If I had my way, you would stay, but I suspect this is the last season for you.
@timothy, yr number are wrong. Abc wins the night
I think it’s time for SPN to be a lead-in show this Fall. Or is the show considered too dark for the 8:00PM time-slot?
Annouce Season 8 (Final) of Supernatural already
and cancel Crapika
@SVU: Fringe Division: With reality shows, sure, even though those too experienced a major decline. Grimm’s the only scripted show on NBC that’s actually winning its timeslot from time to time. Sure, it’s on Friday so you need very little to be on top there, still… It’s beating its scripted competitors there.
Is 8:00pm still considered family hour? I admit, SPN can be bloody, violent and a bit over the top for children. I would prefer keep it at the 9:00pm slot.
@gregg: You’re right. Let me rephrase it: NBC had the highest rated original programming.
@Michael
I think it’s too dark, but a lot of other posters here think it should be moved to 8 pm. It’s the logical thing to do ratings-wise, so we’ll have our answer in the fall if the CW doesn’t do it.
I don’t think Supernatural is very dark anymore, it should be moved to 8 imo
NBC won Monday, Tuesday, and Friday! It’s my favorite network, whith the quality of the shows, it should win Thursday too.
Yaaay! Supernatural up!
If Supernatural can air at 8 in central time zones, surely it can air at 8 in eastern ones?
Yay Grimm! Glad to see SPN adjusted up even though I don’t watch.
Nikita is a goner.
Show ———————- Viewers
Vampire Diaries ———– 2.21 million
Supernatural ————– 1.57 million
Nikita ——————– 1.39 million
Hart of Dixie ————- 1.37 million
America’s Next Top Model — 1.31 million
Ringer ——————– 1.20 million
Secret Circle ————- 1.14 million
Gossip Girl ————— 1.06 million
Nikita (Friday show) was the 3rd most watched show on the CW last week. The Secret Circle got less viewers than most shows even with the huge TVD lead in.
Anonymous, total amount of viewers is irrelevant!
I dont think Spn should move to 8pm. Its doing well where it is no point to risk it.
Oh, Supernatural! YAY! I was hoping, but didn’t actually expected the adjustment. Great news!
Supernatural’s season average was 1.0 last year,
this year it is 0.7
…..shame
This seasons average is 0.75 not 0.7. Yes a fall from last seasons average but not from where last season ended which was at 0.8s. The damage was done last season not this. And ilast seasons losses were a CW wide phenomena affecting all shows. Also not much of the fall in live viewers is due to people leaving the show. The +7 DVR % is up a lot on last season and according to CW figures 20% of people now watch online on top of the live and DVR viewers – again up significantly this year.
yey Grimm!!! =)
Phew, thank goodness for the up adjustment. Wasn’t holding my breath considering the week we had. SPN still hanging in there and bringing in the .7s on a Friday when the Mon-Thu shows are lucky to get a .6. Good for the little show that could.
