Burbank, CA (April 23, 2012) – With the house in disarray after a bathtub fell through the ceiling, the family is feeling the strain of close quarters in the season two premiere of “Melissa and Joey,” premiering on May 30 (8:00-8:30 PM ET/PT), followed by another all new episode at 8:30-9:00 PM ET/PT.
In the premiere episode, “I Can Manage,” Mel is feeling the pressure of balancing the massive home renovation with her duties at work. Determined to have the house fixed as quickly as possible, Joe convinces a reluctant Mel to put him in charge of the construction. But Joe’s management style only makes things worse. Meanwhile, Lennox is thrilled when her school wants to put on her original play, but the reaction is not quite what she had hoped.
In the second episode, “If You Can’t Stand the Heat,” Mel is charmed by her “cabinet guy,” but is less charmed by Joe’s reaction to him, leading them to a fight about being too involved in each other’s lives. However, their decision to give each other privacy does not turn out as planned. And Lennox is horrified at being appointed to her school’s “spirit committee,” until she meets the club’s president.
The series cast includes Melissa Joan Hart, Joey Lawrence, Taylor Spreitler, and Nick Robinson. In “I Can Manage,” the guest stars include Joel McKinnon Miller. In “If You Can’t Stand the Heat,” guest stars include Cody Linley, Bren Foster, and Joel McKinnon Miller.
I was at the taping of the second episode back in September. I’m not really a fan of the show but the episode was pretty funny in parts. I’m sure fans will enjoy it.

Looks like a third season to me.
This show is pretty bland but not a bad option if you want to kill time.
In other words, ABC Family is unable to launch a second comedy for the third year running.

This should be the 3rd season. Idk why they made season 1 so long….literally 2 yrs. Dumb.

Baby Daddy starts June 20 so I guess we will get 2 episodes of Melissa and Jory for 3 weeks.

This show is GREAT! I really like the banter between Melissa and Joey. Tw two kids are pretty good too. I wish they would show repeats more offer so we don’t have to go so long not seeing anything.

10 Things I Hate About You was hilarious. ABC Family gave up on that one way too soon. It would have done great in syndication.

According to star Allie Gonino, as of April 18th, the cast of The Lying Game has not been given any official word of being renewed for a 2nd season.
I like the show. I wonder if they will make season two as long as the first one was with thirty episodes again or make it shorter. I do think it would be nice if they show some repeats of the show too.
