Senate Dem: Save the US Postal Service with Wind Farms
As the potential collapse of the United States Postal Service looms on the horizon, one Senate Democrat has proposed an unusual plan to solve the crisis.
Senator Tom Carper (D-DE) looks to harvest the electricity that windmill farms produce in order to power a new fleet of battery-operated postal delivery vehicles, replacing the previous ’25 to 30 years old’ ‘dilapidated’ vehicles.
The Senator admits the idea is “out there” but concludes that “we need to be thinking boldly, and the postal service needs to do that”

Marines discharge sergeant for Facebook posts
SAN DIEGO – The Marine Corps said Wednesday it has decided to discharge a sergeant for criticizing President Barack Obama on Facebook.
The Corps said Sgt. Gary Stein will be given an other-than-honorable discharge for violating Pentagon policy limiting speech of service members.
The San Diego-area Marine has served nearly 10 years in the Marine Corps. He has said he was exercising his free-speech rights.
The discharge will mean he loses all benefits.

Barack Obama’s new interview with mouth-breathing fan Rolling Stone editor Jann Wenner is most notable for his gooey praise of the “brilliance” of Daily Show host Jon Stewart.
“I don’t watch a lot of TV news. I don’t watch cable at all,” he said, very unconvincingly. “I like The Daily Show, so sometimes if I’m home late at night, I’ll catch snippets of that. I think Jon Stewart’s brilliant. Who's spinning what? I watched Fox News carry some of the British court proceedings LIVE yesterday afternoon.
If it was NBC, they would have tape-delayed it and would bring back that associate producer to selectively edit the piece.
Before you make such a statement such as Fox not covering the UK hearings, better check your facts next time.
