Bored with the recycling of topics in the CBS renew/cancel posts? Me too. Blame Les Moonves for renewing all those shows early!
To make room for new dramas in next Fall's schedule, CBS will cancel at least one of the CSI offspring (NY or Miami), and maybe both. The conventional wisdom is that if its only one NY goes and Miami stays, but I don't think there's enough behind that conventional wisdom to trust it.
Those imagining that CBS will keep them both with some sort of timeslot share or Saturday timeslot have very vivid imaginations.
What do you think?
More sitcom time could save Rules of Engagement and/or Rob, but without it, they're both likely gone too. Two and a Half Men will be renewed, unless something freakish happens and Ashton Kutcher's salary demands aren't met.

The Renew/Cancel Index is the ratio of a scripted show's new episode adults 18-49 ratings relative to the new episode ratings of the other scripted shows on its own network. It's calculated by dividing a show's new episode Live+Same Day adults 18-49 average rating by the Live+Same Day new episode average of all the new scripted show episodes on the show's own network. The network's average ratings in the calculation are not time weighted (ex. hour long shows are not weighted twice what 30 minute shows are).
(F) -Fridays: Shows airing on Fridays were renewed with significantly lower than average Indexes.

It seems to me that shows that are on Friday nights never do well.. I enjoy CSI NY better than Miami, maybe if it aired a different day of the week it would get more ratings..
PLEASE KEEP MIAMI WE HAVE ALREADY COLLECTED OVER 500 NAME ON A PERTATION TO KEEP MIAMI AND STELL COLLECTEING WE LOVE THE SHOW BUT NEW LAST YEAR WHEN YOU HIDE IT ON SUNDAY NIGHT WHERE IT WOULD ALWAYS BE TAKEN OFF TO SHOW SOME HAIRBRAINE SPECIAL THAT YOU WANTED TO DO AWAY WITH IT. SO PLEASE KEEP IT
