   The Borgias, Big C and Nurse Jackie should see a bump in the ratings next week because people like me will be watching now but I didn’t watch the last 2 weeks because I saw the shows On Demand.

   GOT did great again and Veep didn’t do that bad for an HBO Comedy. I do think HBO lost viewers for Veep by having the long break between the shows.

   Someone correct me if I’m wrong, but I thought on cable that only the number of viewers matters (not the demo). Especially with premium cable, right?

   So, Atlanta housewives remain the queens of Bravo. There seems to have been a drop off in viewership for NJ from the Atlanta lead-in at 9pm despite the heavy promotion.

   @BrieK: That’s only true for premium cable. Non-premium cable channels still have to sell ad time, and most of them use A18-49 to do so. I’ve heard that some use 25-54, and obviously more kid-oriented channels will be using various kid demos, but for the most part 18-49 still rules the roost.

   @number cruncher – “mob wives” is slated to start shooting for the third season this july with an expected late december/early january premiere date.

   @lisa – the drop-off was slight, only around 200K-300K. that’s not bad at all. go, bravo, go!

   Showtimes Nurse Jackie, The Big C, and The Borgias are low to nonexistent because after the season premiere episodes of all three shows they put the next two episodes on showtime on Demand and showtime.com so people were able to watch them before they aired.

   Mad Man has declined every single week this season. For weeks, it has been pwned by commercials/show previews on a network for which you have to shell out extra cash (HBO). Then, last week, it started getting pwned by a show on a network that targets half a demographic (Lifetime). Now, even Ax Men, which costs a buck and a quarter to make, is showing Mad Man what it means to be a real man…show.

   It’s time to cancel the POS Mad Man. This overly expensive, overhyped, and overrated show needs to go. I mean even The Killing generates two-thirds the audience of Mad Man even though you know it has less than one-third the costs. And if this is the best Mad Man has done, it should have been cancelled much earlier.

   Now watch all the overly defensive and sensitive pansy Mad Men fans attack me and the truth.

   Long live The Walking Dead!

   No one has to attack you. It’s not worth it. You’re not worth it. Mad Men will be on for two more seasons after this season. The contract was already made. It’s happening whether you like it or not. So stop writing the same comment every week. You’re boring and obvious. Nobody cares if you love TWD or hate Mad Men. You’re predictable. I watch both of them. TWD is the biggest ratings hit on cable. And Mad Men is the biggest critical darling on cable, since it wins the Best Drama at the emmy’s every season. Four straight. It’s going to have seven seasons.

    How can anyone say that this season isn’t as good in Game of Thrones?!!!??????!!?!!!! This season has been excellent, it sets the table for EVERYTHING that’s gonna happen in seasons 3 & 4!!!! Giddy up!!!!!

    I really don’t know what all the hype is about Mad Men??? I’ve just finished season 2 on DVD and I must admit , zzzzzzzzzzzzzzz!!!!!! It really doesn’t go anywhere. They go to work, drink, smoke, cheat on their wives, while drinking and smoking, then go to work to drink and smoke. Best drama 4 straight years my azz!!!!!

    BrieK. On premium cable it’s only the subscribers that matter and the live ratings really don’t mean anything except to give a vague idea of how many people are watching any particular show. It’s the total number of viewers in any given week that really matters because that is how they track whether or not a show is a success or a failure. They don’t really care when a person watches.Only if.

    The Client List just continues to increase week to week! Which is a good thing, considering it’s an amazing show.

    Episode 1: 2.79 million viewers, 0.9 rating
    Episode 2: 2.85 million viewers, 1.0 rating
    Episode 3: 2.75 million viewers, 1.1 rating

    Also, the third episode was the best episode yet, in my personal opinion. Can’t wait to hear from Lifetime of its renewal! I know it’ll be soon.

    Surprised by that drop in viewers for Breakout Kings. I thought this season was better than last. At least demo is steady

    It’s quite easy to say that actually. It’s been pretty flat. I didn’t love season 1, but so far, this season has been a step down. It’s bloated and meandering. And you should not have to know the source material to enjoy a TV show.

    @Decker. I didn’t like the 2nd book either, so yeah as AC said it’s pretty easy to say what I did
