Nice to see 2 Broke Girls as the 3rd best scripted show. That, and Once Upon A Time are the 2 biggest new shows this season, with New Girl probably rounding out the top 3. Odd that all 3 are female-driven shows. Could there be a shift in the 18-49 demographic, favouriting female-centered shows?
I have always wanted to ask why there isn’t a final table with the average 18-49 / viewership when the season ends on the site. I have searched all over the internet for the 18-49 rating of the shows in past years but i can’t find any archive at all. I think it is realy usefull to have a section on the site that shows you how different shows rank through the years in the ratings / viewership.
Those may be the worst in-season ratings I’ve ever seen. 10.4 million to get into the top 10? Yikes! That said, is this TGW’s first top 10 placement?
You can tell most of NBC’s weeknight programming isn’t as “must-see-TV” as it used to be when “Nightly News” gets more total viewers than anything else on that network other than “The Voice”.
Horrible to get just a 2.2 to be in top 25. Just about 4 years ago, dropping below a 2 was like an automatic death sentence, even on NBC!

So is NCIS taking the non-sports most watched show title?

American Idol should beat it out. It’s currently up 504K average viewers, which is probably too much to make up in one month.
Also, if Nielsen lets them, FOX may be able designate the final Idol performance show (on Tuesday) as a special and count the Wednesday finale as Wednesday Idol (instead of Thursday Idol like last year). This would easily put it ahead of NCIS.
NCIS beats American Idol again!! That’s so lovely. I remember the days when NCIS was able to keep up with Idol on Tuesday nights. Now it beats it for the entire week!
Nice to see Harry’s Law at # 21…
I still hope NBC renews it, but I don’t think they will
I’m glad to see Harry’s Law is climbing and seems to be reinvigorating itself—this is one of NBC’s few successful new shows and should be given another shot at a new season—Still mad about Prime Suspect
Really weird to see Idol not #1 in total viewers.
Beaten by a scripted show
