Definitions: Fast Affiliate Ratings: These first national ratings, including demographics, are available at approximately 11 AM (ET) the day after telecast, and are released to subscribing customers daily. These data, from the National People Meter sample, are strictly time-period information, based on the normal broadcast network feed, and include all programming on the affiliated stations, sometimes including network programming, sometimes not. The figures may include stations that did not air the entire network feed, as well as local news breaks or cutaways for local coverage or other programming. Fast Affiliate ratings are not as useful for live programs and are likely to differ significantly from the final results, because the data reflect normal broadcast feed patterns. For example, with a World Series game, Fast Affiliate Ratings would include whatever aired from 8-11PM on affiliates in the Pacific Time Zone, following the live football game, but not game coverage that begins at 5PM PT. The same would be true of Presidential debates as well as live award shows and breaking news reports.
Rating: Estimated percentage of the universe of TV households (or other specified group) tuned to a program in the average minute. Ratings are expressed as a percent.
Share (of Audience): The percent of households (or persons) using television who are tuned to a specific program, station or network in a specific area at a specific time. (See also, Rating, which represents tuning or viewing as a percent of the entire population being measured.)
Time Shifted Viewing – Program ratings for national sources are produced in three streams of data – Live, Live+Same Day (Live+SD) and Live+7 Day. Time shifted figures account for incremental viewing that takes place with DVRs. Live+Same Day (Live+SD) include viewing during the same broadcast day as the original telecast, with a cut-off of 3:00AM local time when meters transmit daily viewing to Nielsen for processing. Live+7 Day ratings include incremental viewing that takes place during the 7 days following a telecast.

Happy Endings is a lock for renewal now I think!
“The curse of Pennies birthday strikes again”
ABC should just order more MF episodes in order to not have so much episodes airing without lead-in (Happy Endings, Apt. 23, and to a lesser extent also Revenge). The Office for example had often 25-28 episodes per season in recent years.
I mean comedies are only filming half as much per season anyway compared to dramas, so it shouldn’t be too difficult to even do 25-30 episodes a year…it would still be much less in terms of running time than a 22 episode drama series.
@ Jeff R.
“This time last year, CT had a 2.1 out of a MF 2.0 repeat.”
This time last year, CT had a 2.1 versus a 2.4 for Breaking In.
Well of course a 2.0 rating in its third episode is not good for Don’t trust the b—- in apartment 23, BUT this 2.0 is definitely better than what Happy Endings got out of Modern Family Repeats. I’d still say that it’s likely to be renewed. I love the show
Weirdly low ratings for Revenge though… I was sure it was not that dependent on this Wednesday comedy block
“so repeat of Modern family did better than new APT 23 LOL”
Neither could Happy Endings which has been airing after Modern Family all season.
You see, this is what happens when Modern Family is in repeats but the 9:30 show is a new episode. You expect it to go low.
Well, I am fairly happy for Apt 23 – No Modern Family and still 2.0. At this point we will probably see it next year :]
So the best episode of Revenge gets the lowest rating. Figures.
Correct. I just saw that Common Anomaly. Still, CT was able to improve from its lead-in and it had just recently come off a nine week hiatus.
I think this is the first time, Revenge has had the same ratings in both half hours. That shows that it was great.
ouch for revenge, while it’ll probably be renewed this year, i’m not so sure about next year.
The LA Complex my new favorite show it was really amazing last night!!
Apt. 23 is clearly lead-in dependent, and has no strong following of its own. And there’s no reason it should have. It’s just not a very good or funny show.
I hope Betty White stays healthy and in good shape for many years to come, and that NBC and TVLand don’t work her too hard. Enjoying both her shows. BFF and A23 were good last night, too, although I don’t think A23 was as good quality-wise as its previous two episodes. Looking forward to a new TBBT, RoE and all the NBC comedies tonight.
Criminal Minds repeat was up by 0.1 compared to last week
It should be interesting to see what ABC does with Apartment 23, Happy Endings, and Cougar Town. The ratings were 2.0, 1.7, and 1.5 respectively for their most recent episodes, all of them out of repeats (CT running after a repeat of Last Man Standing.)
ABC did this to herself with all that hiatus for Revenge, do to hell ABC ! And CW ANTM is not worth it anymore better pick up two new dramas for next fall and The L.A Complex just trash !
Just got exited when I seen Community and Parks and Rec on the schedule to the side
In other news, as of today I am giving up Awake and Touch
Great episode of Revenge, but those numbers are getting scary. I don’t blame ABC, as a fan of the show I didn’t need a new MF to watch it, I just did. If anything is killing Revenge, it’s fans who stopped watching it. As far as Apt 23, following repeats didn’t make me change channels after 15 minutes before Revenge.
Ringer was boring for first half its season and Revenge was more exciting. I think Ringer got better in its final episode and Revenge is doing the oppisite. Maybe all these brekas they do make me lose interest in Revenge.
