ABC could have easily ordered 24-26 The Middle, Modern Family,

ABC did order 24 episodes of The Middle and Modern Family…

  • Ultima

Revenge has shown it has mucsle. Its time for ABC to reward their fans with a renewal.

Revenge is obviously going to be renewed. Why does it make a difference if ABC announces it today or in three weeks?

  • Ben

Did a repeat of LA complex surpass the original airing?

  • rob60990

@Ben, by 60,000 viewers. Only on the CW can this happen.

How come TVLine put Law & Order: SVU on the bubble? If anything, SVU is getting out from under it, by NBC standards of course. TV Line wants to announce NBC bubble shows, try: Whitney, Up All Night, Community, 30 Rock, Celebrity Apprentice; comedy clunkers that go up and fall flat and crep back up and fall flater further.

A 1.7 demo and 6.56 total million viewers is pretty good, NBC standards of course. Now NBC shows pulling under 1.4 demo and 4 million, that’s pretty bad, on all standards – Awake (which is a good drama), Harry’s Law namely scripted.

Question: What makes shows hated on this site.

Answer: It’s not the shows, it’s the annoying and obnoxious fans, and after today Revenge just jumped in the top 5 in my books. Just chill and stop, your making people that never watched it, never ever want to watch it.

  • Z

I’m happy that Revenge adjusted up. :)

  • Max

I wonder if NBC will order more Off Their Rockers for next season or if this was just a one season affair to plug a hole in their schedule.

  • Gaius Bolling

is it bad for fans to be worried or happy about their shows? lol

  • rob60990

“It’s not the shows, it’s the annoying and obnoxious fans, and after today Revenge just jumped in the top 5 in my books. Just chill and stop, your making people that never watched it, never ever want to watch it.”

I agree with the first part but what did the Revenge fans say that bothered you? I don’t see any of them attacking other posters like the Chuck, Community, Nikita, Fringe, and Awake fans do.

  • tvfreak

Gaaaahhh!!!! Why can’t Idol ever be adjusted down?!

  • tvfreak

@rob60990: I’m an Awake fan. You don’t see me attacking non-fans, do you? Don’t generalize, please. Same with Community fans. I consider myself a Community fan but I don’t attack all other sitcoms the way many Community fans do, for whatever reason.

@Gaius Bolling, yes that is an option for ABC to air Revenge after Dancing with the Stars. They may also want to look at its potential behind Once Upon a Time or even Grey’s Anatomy. They’ll have to make that call if Scandal should be renewed and placed back behind Grey’s. I am one who loves Revenge but used to watch Law & Order:SVU on a regular basis. So the two shows may share an audience. I just feel it has the potential to do better after another drama then after the comedies. Devious Maids or even GCB may be better counterprogrammig vs CSI and SVU.

I find it amazing how way back in February, nearly everyone was saying that Idol was near death and The Voice was the new hit singing competition program on the air. That way of thinking didn’t last very long, huh? Idol is very well down but it is a show in their 11th season easily defeating a show that is airing a second season.

I think it was a matter of the show being moved during the “Leno” in prime time experiment and then, as NBC’s schedule kept on crashing, never recovering. Plus, it’s been on for 12 or 13 seasons now. Just a few years ago, it could have moved anywhere, but now, it’s kind of stale. It would help to have a stronger lead-in, though.

I would personally bench “SVU” until midseason, plug it in wherever the schedule has a hole, and then call it a day, short of some massive ratings resurgence. And then, in a year or two, reboot the original, so they can focus on something other than sex crimes.

I don’t like the idea of moving “Parenthood” without a stronger lead-in, which NBC does not have right now. As I keep saying, NBC should place it over the summer after “America’s Got Talent,” give away sets of the show, and promote it heavily in all of the usual ways. Its audience would surely go up. And in the fall, I would put either “County” or “Go On” and “Parks & Recreation” on before it.

    Good for Revenge! I’m relieved.

  • Tony ^_^

So glad that “Revenge” went up to a 2.1 and above 7 million viewers. This week’s episode was better than last week’s so it’s kind of disappointing that it went down…

  • were123

Really happy for Revenge!!!! I love that show and deserves to be renewed :D

  • Andrew

    @Brian J

DISAGREE 100% NBC doesn’t need to “bench” or push to summer their shows that pull ABOVE 1.5 in the demo and 4 mil in the ratings. That would be an even MORE foolish thing to do.

SVU, Smash, Parenthood, and Awake need new slots. Grimm is fine, but at the same token, it needs to be on at 10PM, it’s kinda freaky.

  • Ultima

    @Brian J
As I keep saying, NBC should place it over the summer after “America’s Got Talent,”

Most of NBC’s pre-Olympics summer schedule is out, and Parenthood isn’t on there and the post-AGT slots have been filled.
