Thanks for the Hillary posts DB, yes the primary was tough and i was not thrilled with Matthews turn on the Clinton’s. But the level the of GOP attacks on Democratic First ladies is ridiculous and out of control. I see no sign of it stopping.
Plus remember during that period you mentioned she was a Senator running for Pres. A bit different from being a sitting First Lady where GOP leaders called her a b -word and so many other horrible things. She will be running in 2016. So I am sure it’s not over on the name calling for Hillary.
Jeff, again we see things differently. The discussions of first ladies should not get personal or include name calling but both Hillary and Michele have invited more comment because they have been much more vocal and more involved in policy than say Laura Bush was. This invites more scrutiny and more comment. Laura Bush never tried to get a health care bill passed as did Hillary and Laura Bush never stuck her nose into the eating habits of the citizens as has Michele. They can’t be off limits if they are involved in playing the game.

The Five made the list Thursday. 1.92 million viewers might be a record for them.
They had pictures of The Five (actually The 7, they had Juan & Kimblery who wasn’t there Thursday) when they were 5 years old. Guess what Bob Beckel said he did at age 5 or 7? (He used both ages when telling the story) Burned down his neighbors garage.
Long story short her garbage smelled bad so Bob & his brother set fire to it. It got to the garage some how.
