   It’s due to brand recognition.

   That’s a good start for wedding given that it debut higher than all the other new Bravo shows for the last year — Roble, Shahs, Jeff Lewis, etc. It’s hardly a flop and given that it built as the hour went by means that people stuck with it and added on new eyes. I guess there are Kim fans out there. Nene must be gritting her fake horseteeth.

   I feel bad for Kathy. I’m a huge fan. I agree with the comments above me and the show should be only 30 minutes and more structured. And for Pauly D, I watched two episodes and then deleted it from my DVR schedule.

   I knew the Pauly D Project would fail. He didn’t carry the ratings for JS. Truth be told…the relationship between Sammi and Ronnie carried the JS series. Mike was entertaining during the first season…but after that he was annoying. Snookie being drunk got old and Pauly yelling “Yeah buddy…got tired”. However, the Sammi and Ronnie relationship changed throughout Seasons 1 through 3…that’s why JS was a hit. When they stopped showing Sammi and Ronnie regularly (Season 5)…that’s when the ratings plummeted. It’s not rocket science ppl. Ppl may claim they are tired of the SamRon relationship/drama but that is what made the show a hit. The other housemates became “famous” based on how they related to the Sammi and Ronnie relationship. If JMann never started a fight w/ Sammi…would anyone even know she was on the show? Just saying…

   By the way, that means ESPN won the night in 18-49 ahead of all the broadcast networks. On a night with original episodes of two of the three biggest shows in television (TBBT and AI).

   paulyD will soon distance himself from his hampshire buddys blaming them for bad ratings..the snookie & jwoww show will be a real disaster..as will season 6 of jersey shore..they’ll go to bar, avoid grenades, situation will tell snookies bf that she gave him a std, jwoww will break up with roger, vinny will have anxiety, & ronnir & sam will smush, while dena will get a golden shower..there it is ..dont need to watch

    I actually thought the 2nd episode of Kathy was an improvement. There is something that’s still incredibly unorganized and unfinished about the show and having her neighbor on as a guest? Just a bit weird… if the show has more bits such as “Exploring East Hollywood” with her mom, it might actually succeed. The numbers are average but there is a chance this may catch on if they tighten things up. Perhaps if they hired a producer.
