So happy that Scandal is as steady as it is. I guess I’d rather have it like this where it premiered okay-ish and maintained it than to premiere high and drop a lot of its audience.

  • danny94

greys is doing really well agian, scandal pretty steady, think it would collapse without greys lead in…

  • Mike

touch will be cancelled and crazy fox may even renew alcratraz for a 13 episode pilot run on fridays and ionly saythat is because fox simply doesnt have enough pilots to make up for there cancelations on the drama side… i still think they should renew terra nova and pair it behind x factor and american idol and then they can hire better writers..

theres no way abc will cancel scandal because it has been steady every week… ever week its a 2.1 and gets adjusted down to 2.0

  • Mike

POI needs a stronger lead in. It gained more than 4.5 million viewers after ROE.

    BBT! Bazinga!

Awake has been such a disappointment. Just another cop show…

  • SmG

    Good for TVD :)

  • John A

Good for TVD. Adjusted up even when prempted.

LMAO scandal. 4 straight weeks of 2.1s adjusted down to 2.0s. oh well, it’s still amazingly consistent. given last night’s crazy episode, maybe next week it will FINALLY hit that 2.1! but these tiny declines in viewership every week make me worry about it getting a 1.9, not that that would spell doom.

i doubt it’ll be cancelled now. even with a borderline demo, it’s holding on tight and getting major love from nearly everyone watching. it’s got big potential for growth as the word of mouth spreads. it’s too bad it premiered in the spring. also too bad grey’s only has a 1 hour finale because if the rumours of what’s going down are true, it could’ve been another BIG season 6 type finale in the ratings.

wow TVD beat awake in both viewers and demo. and i’m guessing it’ll recover somewhat next week, but HILARIOUS that POI went from beating grey’s by 0.2 to getting beaten by it by 0.9.

Mentalist wins its timeslot! What a relief after a disappointing ratings night.

At first I misread the title and thought TVD had been adjusted down. I was like HOLY CRAP IT FELL TO 0.9!?!? Then I read it correctly and went, well, that’s better. Somehow I feel like TVD falling below 1.0 would be the last nail in the CW’s coffin. They’d better find some new hits before TVD sinks into the single decimals.

All The CW Freshman shows are over the place! The Secret Circle in my opinion is now becoming the biggest flop, to have TVD as a lead-in and lose that many viewers is beyond a joke!

I imagine SMG’s pregnancy will also make Ringer (if not already) a certain cancellation now??? Did like that show though!

Last year CBS dramas with the same decline vs weakest NFL DRAFT! And now POI was on two weeks hiatus and CBS put it exatly this day! Now at least we know with sure or CBS are amateurs and don’t know that the show will be hurt and male watch it a lot or just hate POI!(yes i said it and i am not insane) Wich is strange cause other networks(even FOX) will kill for rookie hit drama right now! Yes they hate that show or hust whant to move it! This is my only explanation why they stay POI unknown show to make mediocre ratings in the fall and when start after new year his uptrend they make it clear that will move the show at 10! And after 6-7 ep in a row with 3s+ rating and 14million+ viewers again down like in the fall!
And even more strange cause before the season CBS know what hit they have:
According to CBS, Person of Interest received the highest test ratings of any drama pilot in 15 years, what one CBS executive called “crazy broad appeal you don’t usually see,” prompting CBS to move CSI, which was broadcast on Thursday for over 10 years, to Wednesday, opening up a slot for Person of Interest.
    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Person_of_Interest_(TV_series)

Why? Cause now they have explanation to move POI! They will say PoI was down again and we will move it to 10! And if next year this new sitcoms failed like how to be gentelman will be nobody fault!

  • HotLatino4GayMarriage

    PoI wasn’t adjusted up! :)

The Mentalist was adjusted up :) :) :)

Scandal still has to beat PP in the time slot. Being stable is great, being stable at 2.0 isn’t good enough. Not when ABC ordered 24 new pilots.

This season ABC premiered 6 new dramas. Got 2 keepers, OUaT and Revenge, and for sure is losing DH and BoP. It was six in and six out. If they turn over one drama hour to have another comedy hour, they will even have one less slot to fill compared with last season. With GA going old, and DH being dead, they are growing more and more impatient to find their new mega-hits. It’s not like this season they need to keep one under performing drama to save face, they already have OUaT and Revenge.

Hello, Rules of Engagement cancellation, Hello, Rob renewal.

  • chrisss

    @ Mike

With Bones and Fringe renewed, Fox only have 2 hours on the fall schedule for new dramas ( Mon@9 and Thurs@9) so the 5 drama pilots are enough.

  • s0303

pretty impressive that the vampire diaries more than double the secret circle in the demo…along with several other cw shows…

poi really took a big hit this week…i thought it would be adjusted up…

  • Michael

@Mickey 1.0, that’s the problem. A lot is at stake, if Vampire Diaries falls below the 1.0 demo mark. The pressure is at an all time high! This is why the CW desperate needs another hit on the network this fall!

  • rob60990

“Hello, Rules of Engagement cancellation, Hello, Rob renewal.”

You really think Rob would be doing any better than Rules at this point? I’d still give Rules the edge over Rob.

  • rob60990

“With Bones and Fringe renewed, Fox only have 2 hours on the fall schedule for new dramas ( Mon@9 and Thurs@9) so the 5 drama pilots are enough.”

FOX has already stated there will be 2 hours of comedy next year so that’s another hour there. They don’t have to renew any of their new dramas to save face.
