    Scandal will be renewed. If only because it is a huge hit among African Americans. It ranked number 2 in that demographic only behind American Idol and ahead of The Voice, Grey’s Anatomy and other shows.

    Where is the link to this racist poll?

    Cause everything except VD gets 0.5 It became the average demo for the network now.

    Supernatural and 90210 have never gotten any 0.5s. 90210 has had a few 0.6s but SPN has only had one (the night Hunger Games premiered.)

    But everything else has been hitting 0.5s, and I don’t know how they are going to choose between them. They’re going to do some fine number crunching I guess, and figure out which ones make more and cost less. Numbers we don’t see.

    Although I somehow feel Fox might regreat not saving Terra Nova right now with some budget cuts along the way (I know I do regreat they didn’t do it, I really liked that show, even though I was the only one around here), as their ratings don’t look so bad compared to their scripted average now. I know, I know… Apples and oranges when it comes to fall and spring. Still, Fox’s standard is lower, there is no way around it, and Terra Nova could also grow in the future. But well, what’s done is done.

    Touch is done. I said it a long time ago… There is no way on Fox’s schedule for it unless it’s an amazing performer!

    Actually, @Bill or @Robert, I think you should seriously start taking into attention the scheduling space on each network when making predictions. I mean, look at Fox! Sundays are animation domination and Fridays are for unscripted and syndication shows (my beloved Fringe included). This means they have 8 hours Mond-Thurs. Give 3 hours to X-Factor/Idol and 2 confirmed hours to comedies. This leaves them with 3 hours. One of them is for Glee. The other one is for Bones. Both already renewed. Do you really think it is more likely that Fox will renew Touch and not premiere any new drama (which I have never heard of a network doing) even with Touch’s current ratings AND trend, than it is that they simply let Keith Sutherland (who should be expensive on top of all this) go? The alternativa would be to move Bones or something else to Fridays, which I also think it’s unlikely honestly, as they will already have trouble filling the second Monday hour given the current competition, they won’t risk the entire night by sending their sole solid performer away…

    I can’t imagine Touch or Alcatraz being renewed at this point, though I never really expected Alcatraz to get a reprieve. They both fell off a cliff. Terra Nova did a better job ratings wise and they already axed TN, so there shouldn’t be any hope for those two. Rob deserves to be renewed. It’s a better show than RoE, and it had better ratings and viewers. Given how Rules of Engagement is doing, I hope CBS sees it that way too. Community just needs to go already, though I really did like watching Yvette Nicole Brown as Shirley. I’m glad to see that Missing is at least stable and consistent. Here’s to a season 2, but as a summer show where those kind of ratings won’t put you in jeopardy.

    Missing would certainly get better rating in a different time slot.

    Right when you think NBC hit rock bottom, they surprise you.

    It’s sad about Parks, it was a good episode. To be fair, when Whitney and Up All Night aired behind The Office, Office was pulling a high two/low three.

    @Aerilyn if Ur so confident y cross ur fingers?

  • Mike

    if fox didnt have american idol and x factor then i would be sinking like NBC

  • jackie

    Scandal is really holding onto its audience. I love it! Lasts nights episode was its best yet

  • The End

    @Mike

    My response to you was on your they may bring it back point. Unlikely to happen. I believe the problem with Terra Nova is that it didn’t know what it wanted to be until too late. The family orientated vibe was clear, but then it shifted a bit to a more serious tone then back again and kept doing this.

    Many people have their own assumptions but ultimately too much faith was put into this show to perform on the timeslot it was given, people assumed it would do better on that day, that time even. Alas not the case.

    Had this show told the audience what it was, where it was going, and kept the audience from start to finish with decent writing and a clear direction the ratings would of been higher and we wouldn’t of seen it cancelled.

    Shame actually as the sets and everything else were beautiful, the location even. Everything about this show and the people just oozed quality, except the writing :)

    Ouch for Person of Interest. Its gone from a 3.0 to a 2.4. Grey’s Anatomy still has life. That episode was pretty great and its only going to get better with only 3 episodes left. Scandal is awesome and 2.0 will give it a 2nd season. I just hope people stick with it. It gets better and better. The cliffhanger at the end with Amanda is an interesting one.

    oh no TM.. that`s not good right?

    I watched TBBT it wasnt so great :/

  • Shaun Daily- Las Vegas

    I can see them pairing up Touch and Alcatraz next season. But with Fringe coming back, makes it more likely that Alcatraz will be droppped. But who knows??

  • Mike

    @The End

    I agree

  • One

    DAMN IT, MISSING! HOW DARE YOU STEAL TENTHS FROM OUT OF THIN AIR! I WANT YOU GONE NOW!

  • Devinn Edwards

    I love Scandal and I PRAY they get a second season!

  • gem

    Do I care that Scandal is renewed because of African American interests…no..bc I already believe that most dramas are inherently racist putting minorities mainly to the background. I can count on my ten fingers how many dramas I have watched and being interested in my lifetime bc of this factor. Many of my friends are the same way. if I did a poll most of them are entertained by reality tv. Regardless I believe Scandal is an awesome show for everyone to watch. Everytime the plots get better and better. Like said Ms. Rhimes you don’t have to be joined at the hip with ABC if they decide not to renew it – shop it to TNT!

  • Matt

    Newsflash for CBS, when you take off two weeks between every damn episode of Person of Interest the show is bound to take a hit. I can’t remember what the hell happened from episode to episode because there’s such a long layover.
