    I wasnt shocked by the dollhouse renewel. It made some sense as Fox thought it was Joss Whedon so it might increase in viewers and sell well on DVD like firefly did

    @John A

    So you think loyalty had something to do with it?

    FOX should renew “The Finder” so they can have a TGIFFFF block: “Thank God it’s FOX’s Finder Fringe Friday!”

  • ToXiX

    I don’t watch Fringe but I’m sure the numbers will go up in the fall

    The Finder is a horrible lead in for Fringe and it’s numbers are awful for a new series there’s no way that will happen.

    Fox probably regreted letting go of firefly and thought the whedan fans would find Dollhouse on dvd and watch its season 2. And the budget was slashed alot so fox probably didnt lose any money.

    Since fox cancelled Finders, I’m writing fox off. They save the crapiest shows and save losers then complain. I’m done with fox!

  • Jiji Moran

    The highest rated show in demographics was only 1.6 … this is Friday night, remember?

  • Jiji Moran

    Talking about “looser shows”, “Finder” is the biggest of them all.

    You are aware that The Finder is barely scraping the ratings of a show four times its age, right? Seems kinda silly to be having a go at other shows when yours is doing just as poorly in its first season.

  • JakeSnake

    Fringe got five seasons.

    Only one show could survive, and we took all the necessary strides to ensure that show was ours :D

    @Fringe Fan

    Yeah it’s laughable to think that Finder shouldn’t get canceled at this point. While there are exceptions most drama shows find a fan base in the first season or two, and then after that the ratings decline. Sometimes it’s a very gradual decline, and other times it’s a dramatic decline. If Finder is already averaging only about 4 million viewers per episode before the first season is even over and couldn’t even get decent viewership after American Idol there’s no logic in keeping it on. It’s only going to go downhill from here. If they bring it back they’ll no doubt leave it on Friday at this point, and by the end of next season it’ll have 2 million viewers per episode at best. It’s dead.
