   Before I was old enough to drive, I bought a paperback book with photos of politicans and funny cartoon balloon captions from people, who, like myself, enjoy making funny balloon captions.

   There, addressing a large group of African-Americans, was former New York City Mayor John Lindsay. This was the late 1960s. Standing on a streetside stage, pointing skyward as his listeners looked up as well, was Hizzoner and his balloon caption, which read: “THERE! CAN’T YOU SEE THE PIE?”

   Can anyone really understand what Sharpton says? You have to tape it and play it again or have the caption on to get his point, which is usually pointless. He has been having this “guest” on about a book this guy wrote about a secret GOP meeting to get rid of Bumbles as soon as they lost the election. He’s trying to make it a conspiracy. I call it being proactive. Since when is a pep-rally dinner by the opposing party illegal and a conspiracy? What a joke! I suppose if the shoe were on the other foot the dems would have filed a lawsuit for wrongful actions with civil rights implications and demand an investigation that is isn’t a race related hate crime. Get real.

   Just spoke to a reportteer hoping a flight to DC, he said security has increased at Louisville International and they are checking everything…following that alert ABC News has reported on I can imagine.

    So they basically go out and get a couple guys who seem to agree with the Republicans about what Obama does and they speak for everybody?

    What I find funny is how the Republicans panties are all in a bunch about Obama using the Bin Laden killing in an ad as somehow a bad thing, completely ignoring how often they used 9-11 to promote fear(ie your aren’t safe unless you vote us) in previous years, it’s comical.

    Hi Mark, I do agree its all comical, and all of them would use it if they were in office, however, I think one complaint is legit, the seals and all the military should be mentioned more in any ad.

    When it happened I did congradulate him on a job well done, and yes, it was a gusty call. Politics has made it to the point, it’s all silly anymore.

    But the story does make some good points but goes overboard on other ones.

    (Persoanlly I think this chatter will increase every anniversary of his killing, hopefully it doesn’t mean anything)

    I KNEW IT! Before November 6th, the ONLY legitimate GOOD thing that Obama will be able to take credit for, is giving the order to kill Bin Laden.

    Everything else has been a sham.

    I saw this young woman on a Fox News show this weekend who wrote a book to push for the banning of the 'I' word. At first I thought, Don Imus? No, he's The 'I' Man.

    If we did that, how would we describe the difference between prescription drugs and ILLEGAL drugs? Dig.
