Definitions:
DVR (Time-shifted) Adults 18-49 Ratings – Program ratings for national sources are produced in three streams of data Live, Live+Same Day (Live+SD) and Live+7 Day. Time shifted figures account for incremental viewing that takes place with DVRs.
Live+Same Day(Live+SD) ratings include viewing during the same broadcast day as the original telecast, with a cut-off of 3:00AM local time when meters transmit daily viewing to Nielsen for processing.
Live+7 Day ratings include incremental viewing that takes place during the 7 days following a telecast.
DVR Ratings Increase Past Airdate - How many people watched the show on their DVRs within 7 days following the airdate
Until the 2009-2010 season, we used a show's LIVE program rating or viewership as the base upon which the LIVE+7 day DVR viewing was added. Now, the press seems to be standardizing around using LIVE+SAME DAY DVR viewing as the base for the calculations, so that's what we do now as well.

Lot of people still watching House and The Office, just not live anymore, makes sense.
Smash huge.
Wow HOD did well with DVR.
Dude, what happened to Gossip Girl that it’s not even on the percentage list? HOD got an 80% increase and not even 40% bothered to record GG and watch it later? I would be sad if it weren’t so hilarious.
I wonder if Sid over on the cw thread has seen this. HOD is the only bubble cw show to chart. Color me slightly optimistic but it might be edging out in the HOD vs. TSC vs Nikita vs Ringer battle.
@Winston
Maybe that’s because every other CW show besides Dixie, GG, RINGER and Top Model was on break? Did that cross your mind?
On that note, I wonder how GOSSIP GIRL did? Interesting that it didn’t show up on the list.
Yeah,Nikita was on break!OOh,snap!
go HOD go!
Wow.. great for HoD.
Grimm continues to do well with the DVR viewers. Watch the show live, my peeps!
The highest ratings that GG and Ringer could had pulled off without being on the list is 0.7 (40%) and 0.5 (25%) ratings, respectively.
So Supernatural wasn’t new this week?
real interesting fight on Grimm, the reapers.
I can’t imagine GG getting less that 0.7. Probably did that (which is bad) but didn’t make the list anyway.
Why are people obsessed with GG’s numbers?
It will come back for a final season either way.
Thanks for the numbers. By the way- the week ended April 15.
A, you do realize that this website is about ratings, right? Gossip Girl is no different than any other show being discussed.
I’m sorry but that chart doesn’t make sense for The CW.
Ringer has always been on it with 50% or more increase and now all of a sudden it’s not here?
And how many episodes The Firm has? I feel like it’s been around forever.
