   EVERYBODY IS DOWN!! Matthews gets almost the same numbers as Schultz!! Not a good sign for Shultz.

   I guess many MSNBC viewers were watching the Prokofiev and Vivaldi performances on “Dancing With The Stars”. (I viewed segments on YouTube). Give ABC credit, they hired a legitimate medium-sized orchestra, and the Prokofiev duet music was well-done. What Joshua Bell must have done was to play his solo part in as driven a manner as possible, contrary to Vivaldi’s actual style. Jackie Evancho turned twelve a few weeks ago but sounds the same as she did when she came on the scene. The show had a below-average “demo” rating, but the highest total audience of the night…must have been MSNBC viewers. The President is supposed to be on tonight. CNN often gets a boost for such things. So it may not be until Wednesday that Ed, Rachel and Lawrence will get their one-million or nearly one-million total viewers in the first airing.

   I was speaking to an elderly person today who isn't exactly a BIG Obama fan but she said that she'll probably vote for B.O. in November.

   She says you never hear anything from Romney! While she has cable, she still gets her news from NBC or CBS. And, I'm sure THAT's also true with a lot of people of all ages. They hear all the negative stuff about the Republicans and rarely give Romney equal airtime unless one of the GOP goofs up.

   The nation already has a gaffe-prone fall guy. VP Joe Biden.
   While the major broadcast networks were busy collecting dirt on Sarah Palin (which they never found), Biden was campaigning in 2008, messing up a lot.
   Of course, you never saw Biden's "Foul-Ups, Bleeps & Blunders" on your broadcast network news.

   Well, you DID see Biden's "bleeps" when Obamacare was signed into law.

   That "dumb old bag" happens to be someone who's very near and dear to me who happened to lose her husband back in January.

   The point was the she, like others, only get their news from the broadcast news outlets, and they only paint Obama is a positive light and the GOP as pure evil.

   I'll take for granted that if you knew my relationship with this "dumb old bag," you wouldn't have resorted to the sinful way that you had described her.

   Not everybody. Compared to last Monday, Rachel Maddow and Chris Matthews are both up +9,6%.

    Looks like CNBC scored nicely in that later part of the evening. The NHL playoff games are popular.

    Percentage wise Fox had a big hit. Fox dropped more than the others.

    REV AL, spent at least 7 minutes of his show on the very important Seamus controversy. Is it any wonder this clown can’t break a million or even 800k most of the time. He gets his issues from the suiko school of “the sky is falling” issues like muffins. As the election gets closer it will be harder and harder for MSNBC to hide the issues that will bring Obama down.

    Pentagon is planning ‘contingency’ for Iran and North Korea

    The U.S. military is discussing significant changes in its war plans to adhere to President Obama’s new strategic guidance that downplays preparing for conflicts such as Iraq and Afghanistan, and counts on allies to provide additional troops.

    War planning for Iran is now the most pressing scenario, or what the Pentagon calls a contingency.

    U.S. Central Command believes it can destroy or significantly degrade Iran’s conventional armed forces in about three weeks using air and sea strikes, according to a defense source familiar with the discussions.
